Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.
My cat goes nuts for this food, she was previously eating Instinct brand but she ate that only because she didn’t have any other choice and would often leave most of it uneaten and it would go stale. I bought this on a whim because her previous food was out of stock. She is going ham on this! We are on month 2 of the food and she loves it. Only thing I desperately wish is that this was sold in a bigger bag. It is quite pricey for only a bag that lasts for 1 month when I usually buy 3 months at a time. Please start selling this is bigger quantities!
I have a special kitty with severe food allergies, amongst other things. He loves this food and it excludes things he is allergic to. I've purchased a few different foods and this one will be a regular for us.
This was just what I needed. I have a less-than-a-year-old cat who is probably allergic to chicken already, so I tried to find something healthy without it. Both he and his younger sibling prefer this one to my previous attempt, so it all works out.
My cat is super finicky, and she needs a grain free food. I supplement her wet food with this. She loved the turkey flavor but chewy is no longer carrying it. I am mixing the Rabbit flavor with the Turkey flavor gradually. So far she is eating it. I hope she will continue to eat it as I am nearly out of options. I have tried everything.
Bought this on a whim, because my boy loves the Rabbit food from Tiki after dark. Was a hit. I added just a bit to his Tiki dry food every day and he is loving it. Will be getting this again.
One of my cats gorged this down. The one with IBD wasnt too excited about it but still ate. I like the ingredients and would be happy to make this my cats staple kibble if they learn to like it.
Rabbit is the only flavor Georgey really likes. I used to buy another Rabbit flavored dry food on Autoship, but the company discontinued it. (OF COURSE!). i found Freely by extensively searching Chewy's site for Dry Cat Food, Rabbit, He LOVES it! He tore through his bowl, scattering pieces everywhere. I'll add this to my Autoship order, for sure. If it were on sale, it would help me so much. Hooray for Chewy's friendly web site, helping me find this food! Thank you.
Our cat has to eat canned food that is rabbit based since she has IBD. She was missing her kibble and trying to eat our dog’s food, so I have been on the hunt for a rabbit based kibble that she could have as a treat. The first one I tried made her sick even though I had only given her a few pieces. After that experience I was hesitant to try this one, but she can easily eat a couple tablespoon a day of this with no nasty side effects. My kitty is so happy now that she gets to eat some crunchy kibble again. Thanks Freely!!!
Our first purchase of this food was improbable. Rabbit? Well, this small, black kibble turned out to be scrumptious! LilGuy went from eating 2 scoops of kibble over a-day-and-a-half to eating 3 scoops in half-a-day! He gobbles it. And asks for more. LilGuy has always been picky and fussy, vomiting food. This one satisfies both his delicate tummy and his taste requirement. Rabbit. So who knew.
My cats are obsessed with this food! It is similar to other rabbit unique protein dry foods and worked perfectly for my one cat’s IBD. The morsels are teeny tiny, smaller than any cat food I’ve ever seen. They are nearly black but have not caused the poop stink that other rabbit protein food has.
