Adjust the amount of food you serve based on the age, size and activity level of your cat. Food should be fed at room temperature. Fresh water should be available at all times. Refrigerate unused portion. Feed approximately 2 3/4 to 3 1/4 cans per 6 - 8 pounds of body weight per day.
The general idea is to slowly decrease the amount of your pets current food while increasing the amount of the new food you wish to use. For both cats and dogs, we typically recommend taking about 7-14 days to gradually transition to the new food. Every pet is different though, and some may require more time than others. As always, you and your vet know your pet best and should decide if this traditional approach to food transitioning is the right path.

Due to allergies, I was looking for a food that didn't contain chicken. So I decided to try this. I used to have a rabbit protein food that my cats loved, but it got discontinued and I couldn't find anything rabbit protein food they liked as much. They seem to like this well enough that I would buy it again.
We have one cat who is allergic to many proteins. We took away their dry food because they all throw up piles of kernels and I'm sick of stepping in them. They aren't fans of wet food, but they actually seem to like this brand, and it's a larger can so I'm not spending my day opening cans and rinsing them... This is very "wet" wet food, soupy. Smells OK. We usually mix in a little Reveal Ocean Fish and Seaweed...they seem to like that combo.
I was on the fence with this since its limited ingredients. Since my cat was diagnosed with IBD his diet had to be changed. Don't be fooled like I was thinking limited ingredient foods are going to be bland or not liked. My cat loves this food and eats it just as he would any of his favorites.
They absolutely love this food more than I expected. It's creamy and has its own gravy within the can and they love it.
My cat, who bas allergies and needs to eat rabbit, used to love this food! But for months now he will barely touch it! As others have mentioned, they must have changed the formula and every can has all this watery gook when you open it, which did not used to be there. I kept giving it a chance because royal canin and rawz are now $100/case and it’s hard to find a rabbit wet food that does not have other proteins added.
Gave my cat horrible diarrhea and trust the pictures other people post in their reviews. The amount in the cans is not 5.5oz....more like 3oz
My 8 year old likes the Freely dry and now he also eats the Freely wet food. I smells good to me and he eats it (not every day, mind you). Also, the "gravy" does not always go over well. So, being that this is the only food without chicken I will be getting it again.
There is definitely a quality control issue with this product. In the last shipment I received there was so much liquid in the can and when I cut into the actual food it was pink in the center. And it never fails, after eating this food my cats throw it up almost 90% of the time. I don't remember having these issues when I initially started feeding my cats the product roughly a year ago. However, I now will not be purchasing the product again.
The title says it all. I paid for 5.5 ounces of food and received about 3 ounces of food. Chewy has excellent customer service, Freely I have yet to hear from. See the picture below, so that you may know what you will be getting....smh the unfortunate thing is this is the only food my cat can keep down.
The meat in the can was very watery. Had more water than meat. And the outside of the cans smelled like a terrible chemical smell. I don't understand why a cat food company would allow that. I'm going to throw them out.
