Transitioning your dog to a new food takes time. We recommend making the switch very slowly over a period of 10 to 14 days
Ok so I bought this on 4/20 and I opened it last month because she had other dry food it even has its own seal. Seal inside of a seal. I keep her food in a food storage thingy. She quit eating it two weeks in. Wouldnt touch it. I kept it for backup and I’m finally like ok Im gonna pitch this stuff. I pick it up and its leaking yellowish liquid. Like whhhhhhat?? Sealed bag no holes or pokes. So ,I cut it open because im like theres no way this liquid is coming from dry kibble. I cut it open and for sure it was all in the bottom and with wet kibble. She noticed it before me obv but what is going on here? Condensation? Evaporation? I took pictures of the bar code in case because the last couple of orders have been kinda a miss.
Our chicken-sensitive hound snubbed this chicken-free kibble out of the bag until she saw our two cats were seriously interested. I offered them only one piece each but they both wanted more. Hound saw the goings on, tried the kibble again, and immediately took to it. Crazy what a little competition will do. Hound appears to be happy with it but cats might be a little bitter that it isn't their food. :)
This is the cleanest dry food recipe I've found, and I've done some serious researching. I like that this food has the first ingredient the actual animal protein, there's no wheat, soy, corn, potato, chicken, by-products of any kind, or canola oil. It's made in the USA. Definitely a fan of this brand. The kibble size and shape itself reminds me a bit of cookie crisp cereal. Flat, smooth discs is how I would describe the shape. My dog likes this kibble as well. We feed her lightly cooked meals and raw food for her main diet, but I keep kibble on hand for training. Glad I found this brand.
Great food, my Gurls do very well on FREELY GRAIN -FREE dry foods..... No Itching, Licking, or Scooting.
My "picky eater" Zuchon pup loves this recipe! She's used to eating the salmon recipe, but I wanted to change it up and give her a little variety, so I tried the turkey recipe. It was met with an outstanding reception - she licked her lips when she finished up! We'll be ordering more!
