Smaller than retail
This cat litter. However, these boxes are about 4 lbs. smaller/lighter than the same product at retail. When this is considered, the apparent savings vs. store-bought is nil. I'd argue, it's a worse value as I'm ultimately going to use 4 boxes in the same time it takes to use 3 store-bought because of the reduced size. Additionally, the consistency of the litter is significantly different than the retail variant. Maybe by design or a manufacturing issue. Overall, this purchase further solidifies my personal opinion that Chewy is not a valid alternative to retail.
Better than the others
I was using a different brand for a while which did a great job against urine odor, but nothing for fecal odor. This product eliminates both. Highly recommended.
Driver Blocked the Door
love the home delivery, and cats like the litter, but the driver left the heavy package so close to door we could not open the door.
Fresh smelling
It seems good the febreeze helps I use a litter robot and is working okay for that does make alittle mess when they come out of the box but I haven’t found one that doesn’t does clump good
Dust CLOUD!!!
I was using another product for quite some time because it clumped well and was DUST FREE all of the sudden it became a huge dust cloud every time my caregiver would pour some in, so Chewy recommended this one and I took their recommendation only to find this is even worse. If I pay extra to have quality products, I expect just that, really tired of all the poor products these days. If my cat weren't so old and 1 blind, I would change to a different litter box, however that ship has sailed I need a DUST free product! Chemical Sensitivities.
No dust and fresh scent, not overpowering.
I have used another brand for years and just became too dusty. I smell the clay dust when my cat is in the box and I cough when scooping the litter. Fresh Step is wonderful and has a fresh smell that is not too strong and no dust.
Cat litter
To begin with. I think chewy is great. Faster and more accurate than other deliveries I've received. I'm going to continue doing business with them as customer service is extraordinary. If you're having smell issues with the litter, either your not changing it or maybe something is wrong with your cat. As far as carrying all that weight of litter up your stairs, make arrangements for the carrier to bring it upstairs or buy smaller boxes. I'm not young either and the carrier is very helpful.

Overwhelming Scent
I purchased the Fresh Step Fabreze scented litter as part of a promotion. I had to buy 4 boxes to meet the promotional criteria. I’d forgotten that I’d tried it years ago and how overwhelming the scent was. I usually buy unscented litter due to allergies. Also, this litter is also NOT 99.9% dust free. (Another negative due to allergies.) A cloud of dust forms even when pouring it gently. As for clumping, it does clump somewhat, but due to the overwhelming scent I’ll be giving the other 3 boxes to my local shelter.
Fresh Step
This is my favorite liter and it does not track through the house. The shipping from Chewy is very fast.
