For best results, do not mix with non-clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill your clean litter box with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Cat Litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Add more Fresh Step Cat Litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

Pleasant scent & less tracking than normal
Ran out of litter and had to run to the hardware store which had lightweight Tidy Cats, big mistake! That got caught kitty's paws and was all over the apartment. Wanted to go back to my regular Fresh Step and saw they had this Clean Paws line. Purchased this and was pleasantly surprised at the scent, not too chemical or overwhelming. After a week of use, there was a lot less litter stuck in kitty's paws and tracked all over the apartment, so I can confidently say that it does work and I will continue to use in conjunction with the Arm & Hammer deodorizer in the future!
almost perfect
I do love this litter, it has a wonderful fragrance and clumps really well. However it is very dusty. The litter champ I keep next to the box is covered in excess dust everyday. It doesn’t seem to agitate my cats asthma too much, but my asthma doesn’t appreciate it. But this is by far my favorite litter I’ve tried (out of over a dozen) so I will stick with it.
Long lasting litter
I'm very pleased with this litter. It smells so good, and the roses' smell lasts a long time. The only downside for me is that it is on the heavy side.. which, in the end, it does not matter because it's a good long-lasting litter with a wonderful fragrance.
Best cat litter I have ever found
Perfect packaging in these individual bags. Definitely easier to store but the best part is the non-tracking aspect. Very little gets tracked out of the box.
BETTER THAN SOME
STILL TRACKS!!?? FIND BITS OF LITTER ON CAT'S FEET, WHICH SHE LEAVES EVERYWHERE. NOT AS MUCH AS PREVIOUS BRANDS, BUT...... ISN'T THERE ANY CAT LITTER THAT DOES NOT TRACK?? I HAVEN'T FOUND IT!!
Two of our cats got UTIs
Two of our three cats have gotten UTIs since trying this litter. We have never had any urinary issues before this stuff. Wish we could return for a refund but packages are open at this point. The rose scent is also pretty strong.
Try This Litter!
This is new favorite. The scent is light and fresh. I have never before liked a scented litter but this works! Great on low dust, tight clumps and less tracking too.
Nice smell, but didn't notice calming difference
The smell is nice, but I did not see any difference in my cat's behavior. It didn't appear that it cost more than the regular scent, so am not out anything, and will use up. I like the bags over the boxes, but my husband prefers the opposite, so we'll probably go back to buying boxes.
Heavy scent and Heavy tracking
This tracks considerably more than my other litters (perhaps due to its larger pieces). The heavy scent is not to my liking. It shall henceforth be relegated to the garage litter box!
smells very nice and does not track as bad
I’m impressed! Not only does it smell very pleasant (not overwhelming at all) but it does not track. Compared to other fresh step low tracking litters I find this one to be the cleanest. It clumps very well which is a bonus.
