The 14 and 25 pound options come in a box while the 42 pound option comes in a bag. This litter is dust free.

clean paws!!! yay

I haven’t been a cat owner for long so I started using a different litter brand. It was a little pricey, but I thought would be good because it’s I guess what a lot of other people use. I started using this one early last week and immediately have seen a difference in the smell in my house and the cleanliness of my kitties paws I’m so happy that I don’t have to go behind him. Every time he gets out of the litter box to clean his paws definitely makes for a happier cat to. I do only have one cat and I clean his litter box multiple times a day once in the morning, and once in the early evening, but for some reason the other stuff, just I guess wasn’t clumping well, and made a disgusting clay sludge that he was being able to step in, and it was getting matted between his toes and on the fur of his Paws. There are multiple things that I love about this later but I do have to add that it is not “cloud free” or “dust free” but so far I’m Happy

Cat litter

I've always used this same cat litter for years. It clumps very well, no mess. My 2 cats don't even track any out. A small amount, few grains of the litter. Smells great. People don't even know I have 2 cats, this litter is so great. Highly highly recommended

VERY DUSTY!

This product is the dustiest cat litter I've ever used. It does control odor very well. The Fabreeze is quite powerful so if you're sensitive to fragrance this isn't for you. Fragrance for me was the least of the problem. This stuff had my house covered in dust. And I mean, run your finger through it, covered! I never had to dust a lot before. Even though we have a few cats we focused on vacuuming. But after a few months of using this stuff, my house of filthy. My dusting schedule wasn't enough to keep up. We're now planning a full on spring cleaning to get this stuff out of our house. We just switched to Frisco Odor Defense. We are trying it out in one cat box and the cats are gravitating to using that one more. I hope it controls oder like Fresh Step did becasue I'm never going back to Fresh Step. Like, seriously, I feel like my lungs need a purge after using this stuff. It only got two stars for the odor control feature.

Way better than competitor!

I used, what I thought was good litter, for years…got tired of it smelling, sticking to the sides of the litter box and carefully scooping to try not to break the clumps. This stuff made my life so much easier! The clumps are hard, it doesn’t stick to the walls of the box and the smell is so much better! I don’t feel I have to reset my boxes as often, just add more litter! Only draw back is it is more dusty in comparison.

Fresh Step cares about consumer’s backs

I recently herniated two lumbar discs at work so lifting anything heavy is a no-no. Fresh step product broke down the 42 lbs into 4 10.5 easy to lift and carry packages up 2 flights of stairs. I will be ordering this from now on due to my disability.

Works great!

I have 13 cats, several from abusive or neglectful situations. The scented litter helps keep odors away. The individual bags are easy to carry to other rooms rather than lugging a larger container.

Best litter

This litter really surprised me! My cat has intestinal cancer and goes through A LOT of litter so I am a self-claimed expert in the field of cat litter. This one has all of the Important qualities I look for in a good litter. It clumps very well and it doesn't stick to the litter box. I don't feel like I'm having to put a huge amount of force to scoop the clumps out like i do with other brands. The smell is great and seems to last pretty long. It can be pretty dusty when I first poor it out but that goes away after a minute or two. Overall it is very good litter!

Smells great, but not the best clumping litter

Although this smells great, and it comes in smaller packages so I can lift them, it is not clumping very well. The clay is sticking to my cats paws and making a mess in my house.

#1 in cat litter

I’ve tried other brands in the past but always came back to fresh step and here I’m staying. It’s #1 in cat litters regardless if you have 1 or multiple cats. No one will know you have a cat/cats. Never a bad odor and outlasts all other litters.
