I’ve used this litter for 16 years
This is the only litter I’ve used for my cat for 16 years. I’ve tried others and none of them worked as well. Especially since he’s been on urinary SO prescription food for years, no other litter will even work for him. I’ve tried much “fancier” litters and they don’t absorb the urine at all. I’m a faithful Fresh Step cat mom and I’ll continue to use this brand forever
No litterbox odor
This little is heavy, since I use a generous amount weekly in my litterbox. I scoop daily but only change the litter once a week. I am very pleased that there is no litterbox odor for an entire week (and it is used by two indoor only cats). Great value for the time, money and effort involved!
Fresh Step Fanatic
I'm going on 43 years of taking cats in! They do love fresh step. It never smells anywhere. Every week I throw it down the toilet it doesn't have that clay clumping. I have noticed recently they've added a little charcoal in the mix it was fine the way it was. Really don't want my cat near anything like that because of his allergies it's a little stronger. Hoping they fine it down a little. Other than that 0 complaints. Wonderful product.
Goodstuff!
I have used fresh step clumping cat litter for years. But, with 5 cats it gets so expensive. I was using 45+ pounds every 2 weeks. I have 6 boxes so it takes a lot. So, I decided to try and mix fresh step clumping and fresh step non clumping. I put a layer of clumping on bottom so the urine will still clump up and can be removed. I then add a layer of non clumping on top and scoop the poo out twice daily. Works very well and helps keep the cost down.
Best Non-clumping option for multiple cats
This is the best non-clumping litter in this price range, although the price continues to increase rapidly, for a multiple-cat household. It neutralizes odor longer and is tracked far less than the other comparable litter. Box clean up is easier as well.
Its come a long way
This Fresh Step has come along way since I first started having cats 30 years ago. A long time ago, I switched to clumping litters b/c they controlled odors better. When I ran out recently, I quickly threw this Fresh Step in the cart as an "in-between litter" until my order for clumping litter came in. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I was surprised at how well it controls litter, and I have TWO CATS using the same litter box.
Fresh Step Litter
I ordered 3 bags of this litter by mistake. I don’t like it because it gets all over and is not scented. I wish there was a way I could return it or get a credit. Thank you very much, Debbie
Nice smelling cat litter
This cat litter works for me and my cat. The smell isn't overpowering and keeps control of odors. I change it 7-10 days, as I only have one cat, and can last long. Sprinkling some Arm & Hammer powder or something similar for cat litter, helps to extend the days of having to change it, but 10 days is the max for me.
Best cat litter
Sometimes hard to find and our senior cat is very used to his litter and food. So happy Chewy helps us keep our old boy happy!! Thanks Chewy!!!
Fresh step non clumping litter
I like this and it's very reasonably priced I can't smell the fabreeze in it so I just add the scented baking soda for pets to his box
