Fresh Step Multi-Cat Scoopable Litter is the best scoopable litter that we have found. It does a good job containing odors and does not seem to be kicked out of box and track nearly as much. I much prefer the unscented, as the the scented varieties have almost overwhelmingly strong smells. A 42 lb package of litter sent in same box as other items is a problem, especially when more than one package of litter is ordered. In more than one instance, the heavy box arrives mangled and additional products included in box are ripped open or damaged due to overall weight of the litter. … more

Smell is unbearable

A friend of mine recommended this product to me when I was in the market for litter for my new cat rescue. As a single cat household, I thought the product worked ok and didn't track much but the "Febreze" scent was overwhelming to both me and the cat. I also started to notice a lot of dust in the area where the litter box was maintained. I don't recommend this product and switched to an unscented litter. After much research, I discovered this is a better alternative for cats anyway. … more

Kind of lightweight for a pretty-much normally priced litter; doesn't make too big a mess from sticking between my toes. Clumps well & cleans up easily (scoops, picks up and dumps without leaving such an awful mess on the scooper).

I thought I ordered the 14 lb bag but the 25 lb bag was sent. From now on I’ll make sure I don’t get any that are large. I have back problems

The cat litter is very good quality, easy to scoop, clumps well. I have not done research, but it seems to me if scents bother many humans, they could bother animals too. I didn't notice the scent notification on the box before I ordered. I'll look for a non-scented product next time.

Hard clumping. Absorbs odor. I don't need to use the powder deodorizer that I used with the litter I used to use. I have 2 cats and it works great. Love it!
