Best litter so far

I have 6 cats and only 2 cat boxes and no one smells a thing I'm not afraid to oops skip a day of scooping this is the best I've tried and I've spread the word

UNSCENTED, SILKY, LOW DUST LITTER

Gracie is an 11 year old Ragdoll — a large lovable ball of fluffy fur with a sensitive nose and tender paws. Fresh Step Unscenteds have always been her favorite litters — the only truly ‘unscented’ litters out there, and they never got stinky — no one ever knew we had cats! As the Unscented Fresh Step litters advanced through the years, Gracie tried them and loved them all. When we recently switched from Fresh Step Clean Paws to the Outstretch formula, she clearly preferred the soft, silky texture of Outstretch vs the other slightly larger harder litter; and I love how silky and easy it is to scoop! The difference in texture is very noticeable. Plus this unscented, low dust formula is their BEST YET. Noticeably better than others — no dust cloud when pouring, and less runny noses and sneezing for us both. Plus, Gracie no longer has that litter scent lingering on her coat … just a clean fluffy furball. This litter is by far their best, two paws up! Only one thing could make this product even better: Please offer it in cases of (4) 10.5 lb bags like you do for other formulas — it’s waaay easier for us pet parents to lift. While the idea of purchasing monthly “refresher packs” is a novel idea, it’s a bit costly for very little … for our large breed, the (4) 10.5 lb cases have been ideal.

LOVE This Litter!

As a huge fan of Fresh Step in a multi-cat home, I have tried most of the varieties and have liked them all (and so have my 3 fur babies!) So, when I saw this deal with the Outstretch "litter system" I had to try it. I was amazed when I opened the base box and began to pour it into the litter pan. It actually appeared to expand and fill the pan very quickly...with a good portion still left in the box! I like to have about 3 1/2 - 4 inches of litter in the pan, makes everything easier...and the wet spots don't stick. First I had to be sure the cats liked it.. and they did! Then the true test came when it was time to pick the litter. I couldn't believe how easy it was to scoop out the clumps! Also, I lost very little litter each time I scooped, not as much stuck to the clumps. This stuff truly has the right name! I love the scent and don't think it's too strong. Plus, the price is perfect for this amount and quality of litter. A+!!!

Less Litter Tracking

I was hesitant, at first, thinking that the finer granules would be easier for my two cats to track throughout the apartment. To my surprise, there is actually little to NO tracking, and the smaller granules make cleaning the cat box easier! This litter clumped tighter, making for less waste, and the cats had no problem acclimating to it.

Holy Poop!

Holy poop! This litter is amazing! It lasts so long as also smells awesome! I’m big on smell so I could care less about the clumping capabilities ( which I do feel like this litter has , but I’m not the best judge). The top of is a great idea too! This is a bit pricey though. I wish it would be a bit cheaper. We go back and forth with normal fresh step

Outstretch litter better

This litter is a finer gravel which makes it easier to scoop and I've noticed it last longer -- it is a little expensive

It Works!!

While cat sitting, my daughters gave the Litter System a thumbs up. They reported no order. Prior to ordering the system Outstretch was already my go to litter. I am hoping the 10pd boxes will soon be available. I struggle with the 19lb boxes.

Very good litter system

My 3 cats took to this litter supplement (and litter) right away. I think it is because of the fine texture. It is softer on their paws. They choose this over Dr. Elseys and Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal (3 cats, 4 litter boxes..only one has Fresh Step, 2 have Elseys and the remaining one, Clump & Seal) As to scooping poops, my scoop has no problems picking up poops or pee balls in this litter. My experience has been if I am having to bulldoze wet litter stuck to the bottom of the litterbox, it is because there wasn’t enough litter in the box to begin with. This has been true regardless of the brand of litter. My cats don’t seem to mind the scent and it does keep the litter box and surrounding area smelling better longer for humans as well as cats (my Tortie can make professional grade stinkers). Just be aware this product is part of a litter system and shouldn’t be used as a primary source for litter (the Fresh Step Outstretch Litter is for that).

overpowering perfume scent fills the whole room

this is the strongest scented litter I have been encountered. the perfume scent filled the entire room as I filled the box & it lingered in the air for hours. it was horrendous. 3 of my 4 cats refused to use the box this I filled with this litter when done according to the instructions. The 4 used the box as he normally does and the perfume scent transferred to his on his fur. After one use, the scent on his fur was so strong, it kept me awake at night. I ended up bathing him in the wee hours of the morning and then I switched the box I filled with this litter back to our regular brand. Not wanting the rest of this litter to go to waste, I decided to try using it like a litter deodorizing additive (ie: up to 1/4 of a 16 oz solo cups worth of this litter mixed into the box w/ their unscented litter) and it totally helps control odors. In contrast to actual litter additives, I only mix this litter into their regular litter once and it's still effectively reduces odors until the next full litter change. My other 3 cats are agreeable to using the box with this litter when used in small amounts so I am now mixing it into all 3 boxes. (2 of the 3 boxes are auto-cleaning and mixing a small amount of this litter into their unscented litter hasnt had a noticable impact on the predominant litter's clumping ability). It's safe to say I won't buy this litter again. I also don't recommend it due to how outrageously over fragranced it is.

Worst stuff ever

Created enough dust to choke an elephant. Litter tracked everywhere. I couldn't wait to go back to the A&H Slide. Won't try experimenting again. Ugh.
