Instructions
Fill your clean litter box with 3–4 inches of Fresh Step® litter. Litter quickly forms a clump around liquid waste. Remove clumps and solids daily, and dispose of in trash. Do not flush. Add more Fresh Step® clumping cat litter to refresh your litter box. Maintain level of litter at 3-4 inches. Fresh Step® Outstretch™lasts longer —top it off and reset your litter box less often!*

Formula change?
We were on a long search for unscented clumping litter and starter buying this particular one in bulk, but with our last purchase, it started to smell like really strong laundry detergent, even though it is labeled “unscented.” The fragrance is too strong for my sensitive nose. We typically buy from the store, but it smelled to fragrant, and somehow our first couple boxes was through Chewy was actually unscented, but now I think production has caught up and there is a fragrance in all of this so-called unscented litter.
Unscented?
I like that this litter is made of smaller pieces than the normal litter from Fresh Step...but this litter seems to have a strong smell for being "unscented". My cat came and sat on my lap a little while after using the litterbox, and the smell of the litter on him was almost unbearable. It was so strong, I had to move him away from me. I wish it had less of a smell, because I like it otherwise.
