How soon after or before applying a topical flea application such as Onguard, Advantage, etc. should I wait to bathe my dog?
It is recommended that you bathe your dog immediately prior to applying a flea treatment. Surfactants in the shampoo are designed to lift dirt and oils from the skin, therefore they will remove the topical flea treatment if the pet is washed immediately after application. If you do need to bathe your dog after application, it is recommended to wait 24-48 hours.
I had been using Burt’s Bees dog shampoo on my 77 pound short hair dog. While he came out of the tub clean he still had a “wet dog” smell every time. The Frisco 2 in 1 cleans well, leaves my dog’s coat soft and clean but he also smells good. The shampoo lathers up well and rinses easily.
Will not buy again. It is like snot. I wasted a big portion of it. Not like any shampoo I have seen.
Doesn’t really smell like anything but my dog doesn’t get annoy with the scent
Nori developed some bumps on his back which turned into scabs. It ended up being nothing, but probably not comfortable for him. We ended up using Skouts Honor Shampoo conditioner
This is not the best product I've used. It doesn't smell the greatest and the consistency is so runny. You need to use a lot more than other brands.
Like that it is a shampoo and conditioner in one. I like it
I purchased this shampoo/conditioner duo for the first time use on our new Shepsky puppy and our small dog. My small dog struggles with itchiness and our Shepsky has a thick coat of fur. I noticed great results after just one use! The Shepsky fur was silky soft afterward and I could see the volume in my small dog’s fur! I have not noticed as much itchiness lately I feel confident in trying this product on my cat next, who is a Maine Coon! I like that this cleanser is lightly scented with aloe (living in the valley of AZ)
This product smells so good and made my dogs coat feelm so m soft which never happens
My short hair chihuahua mix is shedding less with this shampoo
I normally use the GNC vanilla oatmeal shampoo for my small Bichon/Yorkies but tried this as a substitute. It’s a lot thinner and reminds me of the Jon Paul shampoo. Not bad, but not what I was looking for. I’ll be going back to GNC.
