    Cat is OBSESSED with this tree

    I adopted a new 8mo cat and wasn’t sure if she’d be interested in this tree. Turns out it’s the best cat supply investment I made! She spends most of her day in the hammock snoozing, and LOVES the baubles that dangle from it. It’s the perfect height to see out windows and receive pets from people on the couch without being disturbed by them getting up. The scratch stands are not high quality and may not be very appealing to a cat who finds the carpet or furniture a much softer alternative, but ymmv.     I just put this together...easy to do. BUT it is not well built. It is not for my large cats. Might be okay for kittens. The fur is very fuzzy like those old style fuzzy rugs in the 70s. My cats eat that stuff! Then it is too tippy for them. Lastly, there is a thin metal ring around the inside I just put this together...easy to do. BUT it is not well built. Lastly, there is a thin metal ring around the inside of the top, making it hard. Cats who like to hang over the side won't like that and the ring will wear through in no time and tear the top up. When a large cat jumps up, the whole thing will tip. I don't recommend this and am returning for a sturdier one without all that fuzz. … more
