Great rope style toy
My dogs are tough to get toys that last and this has been it even though it’s cheap in price
Definitely not safe for dogs that chew
Ordered this for our American Bulldogs birthday because she loves tug of war and it looked like it would be great for it. This was done in when I had to step away. So this took under 5 minutes of unsupervised time with the toy. The inside is a green stretchy like rubbery foam type material that is very easily chewed and probably swallowed. I don’t recommend this toy for anything besides completely supervised play time. And even then I would only suggest it be used for fetch or a light game of tug of war.
Beware of soft rubber core inside rope
I didn't read the description closely enough. This rope is great until you start finding little pieces of soft rubber, AFTER the dog has likely eaten a good bit. I wish they'd make the rope with just plain rope and nothing inside. I do not recommend this product as it is.
Not for tough chewers
My dog chewed through the rope to inside foam in a day. This toy is not good for tough chewers.
A vet visit waiting to happen
The description of this product is 100% incorrect. This is absolutely not a rope toy this is simply a rubber tube covered with a rope material. The scary part is that the rope material phrase like crazy once it is chewed on or even wet. This intern exposes a rubber tube the length of the entire toy. The rubber consistency is very thin therefore it tears easily so you find pieces of it all over the carpet or in your dogs poop. I can easily see where a dog could ingest a large portion of this tube causing a digestive blockage and a very costly vet visit. Definitely save your money save your pets health and a trip to see the veterinarian pass on this toy. I don’t think they could have developed a more dangerous toy if they tried.
not what it appears
Was a bit surprised when one of my puppies had a piece of yellow tubing in his mouth, seems the ends of this thing doesn't hold up well to puppies pulling and chewing. I'm not having a lot of luck with Chewy toys, with 3 puppies in the house, they seem to get torn up pretty fast. didn't have this 2 weeks and had to throw away.
Fun Toy for Puppy
Long enough that you don't have to worry about having your fingers chewed. Littles can hold both sides with puppy in the middle.
Needs better description
I purchase rope toys a lot and assumed this was the same (maybe I missed it in the description) but this has a plastic tube in it. For dogs that chew this in addition to play with it, this is not good.
Not solid rope
Please, beware this is NOT a solid rope. I am disappointed in this toy because I was under the impression I was buying a solid rope. This toy has a rubber tubing inside that I was unaware of until my pupper chewed through it.
Great tug toy
Excellent for my grand-dobbie. She also enjoys just chewing on it.
