What does the assembly actually involve?
Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2020
To assemble this cat tree, take the top perch and in a clockwise rotation screw it into the top of the base. Please see the photo below for reference:

What is the interior dimension of the circular perches? I have a big cat, and 17" inside would work, but 15" inside would be too small and he wouldn't use it.
Answer by ChewyJun 02, 2020
The interior of the perches is approximately 17 inches in diameter.

what are the heights of the 3 perches?
Answer by ChewyMay 22, 2020
Perch 1 is approximately 11.5 inches from the ground. Perch 2 is approximately 25 inches from the ground. Parch 3 is approximately 50.5 inches from the ground.

Is this CatTree tip proof? How tall is this Tree?
Answer by ChewyOct 14, 2020
Frisco cat trees are tested extensively for safety; however, you should always supervise pets during play. The overall height of the cat tree is 50.5 inches.

Awesome cat tower!

I love this cat tower, and my cat Rusty loves it too! He really likes the top tier, not only to sleep in, but also watch the birds out the window. My other cat Reggie wasn't so enthused at first, but did eventually try it out. However, if Rusty sees him there he gets territorial & chases Reggie out! Hopefully they will learn to share soon. I liked the fact that it was shipped mostly assembled; you only have to screw the top tier onto the post & it's all ready to give your cats a quality place to sleep & observe the world around them.

Cat Loves It!

This cat tree was exactly what I was looking for. I needed one tall enough for Whiskers to see over the foundation shrubs out my front window. It is very sturdy and stable and covered in carpet (some less expensive models are covered in some sort of plush which is probably not as durable). I didn't want one that was too busy visually with a bunch of different things on it; just the platforms. Whiskers approves. It did take him about 24 hours to give his approval. A few treats on the platforms encouraged him to make a close inspection.

Great Tower

I purchased this about a year ago for my cat. she took to it immediately, and it’s held up well. she loves playing at the base, climbing up the pole, napping in each section, and scratching it. the carpet DOES shed a lot, so you will need to vacuum often but it’s to be expected with any tower/post of this material. after a year of daily use, some areas of the post have started balding, but I still expect it to last another year, hopefully more, and I’d repurchase it in the future.

New Carpet Smell

It came in a big box. You only have to screw on the top level. Every other cat tree I've purchased had a lot of parts to assemble so that was good. I wanted carpet because my one girl tears the heck out of faux fur and the trees get torn up pretty quickly. So, we'll see how this does. When you take it out of the box, you'll need to do some cleanup. Loose fibers, nylon strings, etc. After they assembled it, they just stuck it in the box without any QA, I guess. Otherwise, it is pretty solid and has a wide base. My girls are still trying to figure out how to get down :)

Kittens LOVE their New Tower!

I purchased this as a 2nd Tower for my less than a year old kittens (they're pretty big now though) and they love it so much. They can fit in the top together, but they push each other out of it every now and then. I used it for a window in my Master Bedroom and if fit perfectly! Happy Furry babies and Meowmy!

Much thinner product than the FRISCO 65 in wooden tree.

Much thinner product than the FRISCO 65 in wooden tree. I also order Beige and was sent a gray one. They wanted the other one returned first before they shipped out the correct one. This would have probably taken another two weeks to get it. Not worth the hassle for their mistake. I would not buy this tree again or recommend it, as it is much inferior to the FRISCO 65 in.

My cats approve, quality could be better.

Overall, I'm very happy with this cat tree and my cats instantly loved it (they fight over the top perch). I only have 2 points for criticism: 1) It's not 100% sturdy for larger cats. I feel the base could be a little heavier to prevent tipping risk. 2) The carpet comes off easily, and had several strings and bits I had to pull off while assembling to prevent one of my cats from eating it.

Works for bigger cats

Got this cat tree so I didn't have to life them up onto my desk's hutch anymore (they can jump but chose not to). Works great for that and the sides make it so both of them can curl up comfortably and hangout throughout the day. Tux is 17.5 lbs and Tan/Brown is 13.5lbs and neither is crunched or squished in these beds. Reason this is 4 stars is because it does tend to "unravel" little plastic pieces which I don't love and have to look out for.

Great Quality

Took longer to arrive then expected but I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Great quality and has a good weight to it. Large size for larger cat to curl up and sit comfortably. Easy to jump on and off. Some people said it had a carpet odor I didn’t notice anything and not a lot of carpet shedding either as some have mentioned. Basically ignore the bad reviews this is a excellent cat tower. Came assembled all you have to do it screw on the top part took less then 10 seconds. I highly recommend this tower. The cat will love it and you will love it!

Top tier is too hard to reach

Poorly designed. The top tier of this tree sits too far over the second tier. So a cat has to really twist itself around to get there and it's even more difficult to get down. Kind of makes it pointless getting a multi-tier tree if they can't even get up there safely.
