First cat condo
My cat really loves this condo. It sits right by his favorite window where he sleeps and sunbathes. I deducted a star since I'm really unsure about longevity. After 2 weeks (where it didn't get much use while my cat was aclimating to what it was) the fabric has come undone on one of the corners of the top platform... I imagine this will probably start looking rough and falling apart if it gets heavily used after a year. Also the cave part of this was extremely difficult to attach, as you can't see where the holes are and have to screw through the carpeted area. This took me nearly 20 min to align and get on there. Otherwise a decent first cat condo. I do want to mention the platforms are a bit small. My 12lb cat can lay in it, but a good portion of him hangs off. Doesn't seem to bother him much though. Would be perfect for a smaller cat!
Wonderful Cat Tree
I bought the 72 inch, cat tree in Cheetah, color. Lucy Lou, my Tuxedo kitty, loves her new cat tree! She sleeps in the little covered house-like boxes. And goes up to the top shelf to watch the birds outside! I have placed the cat tree in front of my big deck door. I have bought so many things at Chewy and never had a problem, at all with the company.
So nice I bought it twice!
The price point on this cat tree is why I decided to buy the first one. We put it together and our cat fell in love with it instantly. Our doxies were very jealous because they wanted to check it out too! Another stray cat found us and we decided that having a tree for the house and the sun porch was the way to go for the two of them. We debated looking for a different one but decided there was no point because this one is just perfect, so we ordered a second one and never regretted it!
Surprisingly Sturdy
We were surprised when putting it together how sturdy this cat tree is. It did take about an hour to put together with two people but it wasn't hard just follow the pictures, no written directions. So our cat loved it right out of the box. She's a huge climber and a color of gargoyle because she is always at the top of something looking down on us. Her favorite spot is at the top of the cat tree. Time will tell how well this holds up but from what I can see so far it should last quite a long time. For the price it's perfect, sturdy and a great addition to our cats menagerie.
Practically Purrfect!
A fairly sturdy cat tower! If everything is fully tightened then there is minimal wiggling but they also do provide a wall anchor that secures the top. (I’d only not recommend this tower if you’ve got an overweight cat or big cat and can’t anchor it to the wall.) The fabric is very soft but there’s no cushion between the fabric and the wood so it’s soft but not plush like some towers are. (My previous one was a canvas style fabric with foam between the fabric and wood.) Also the posts that you need to put inside the cave-like area was such a pain to install but not the end of the world!
Pretty Nice Tree
Great for the money. Pretty nice tree all around. It's sturdy and hasn't tipped. It's holding strong against our wild child cat to just attacks the polls with all three feet at once. I imagine it would withstand the fourth foot if he had it. The platforms are a little to small for our largest cat, but he's a really big boy so I'm not surprised. He likes it anyway. Assembly instructions were very clear. It was mostly pretty easy to put together. Except the poles inside the cubby. That was a nightmare. But I understand why it was put together the way it was.
Good Value and Well Made
I purchased this for my 1 year old ocicat mix. He weighs around 13.5 lbs and is quite long a long cat. I wish the perches were slightly bigger but my athletic cat doesn’t care. He absolutely loves it. The sisal scratching posts are wonderful. I placed the cat tree by my sofa chair and he stopped scratching my chair. He loves using the tree posts. The cheetah print is plushy and very attractive. What I like most about this cat tree is that it doesn’t take a lot of space.
Absolutely.
Definitely worth it. Cats loved it and were jumping on it before it was even fully built! Nice and sturdy. Easy to assemble except the predrilled holes were a bit hard to find because the fur covered them, but easy enough. As all faux fur, it sheds when you build it so be prepared. It fits beautifully next to my window and bug enough for a 12 lb. cat. The babies are in love and so am i. Beautiful color too. The scratching post in the front took a while to figure out because the instructions for the brackets were a bit odd, but i figured it out. Built all by hand in 30 mins by a 16 year old girl. Simple instillation and fun design. Worth buying again. :)
Mina Loves It
After having a friend assemble the cat tree/condo for me (I’m not one to assemble anything), Mina took to it in no time at all. She uses the scratching posts a lot (although still fancies my leather loveseat) and hangs out on every level of the tree/condo. I’m very pleased with this purchase and the price was right!!!!
Worth it after trying others.
After ordering I was a little afraid after reading a few weak reviews about sturdiness. Well we put it togather and it IS solid. My kitty is very active and jumps from it to the bed full force, the one I had fell over one day so I bought this one and it does not move at all. Plus kitty loves the little hid away. I did remove the highest pole attached on top of the hideaway because we didn't need it. I think better without screw sticking thru top of that to. Very happy.
