After searching through your entire inventory of cat towers we decided on this one based on size and features. It is perfect in every way. Or living room is small to mid sized and this fits in front of one of our two front windows. This gives both cats an unobstructed view of the yard and give us usage of the other window for ventilation on cool days and nights. Our 2 cats love it and seemed well gets which apartment and perch on their own. The price was unbelievable and the assembly was a breeze with everything clearly labeled and detailed. We couldn't have made a better selection.
This tree is awesome except it’s very steep with little surface area for my cats to get down. We actually had to keep our other tree next to it or else our cats were unable to get down from the top. My cats love the bed areas one is 8lbs and the other is like 11lbs. They also really like the tunnel and cube areas and will sleep in various spots. Just wish the platform was a little wider so we didn’t have to have such a large tree setup in our 1BR apartment
This thing is STURDY. The instructions are very well written and easy to follow, so despite my 2 cats "help", I was able to put it all together in around half an hour or so. It comes with an optional wall anchoring strap (which is a great idea), but with how heavy this unit is, I don't think I'll need it. It looks nice, the design is well thought out, the faux fur should not shed everywhere like their old carpet cat tree did, and the dual 'apartments' and dual perches should allow both of them to use it at the same time without antagonizing each other. Hopefully. Maybe. Overall, I am VERY happy with it.
I bought this as part of a bundle (also got the 30" Frisco tree too) and put it together in about a half hour. I did note that when assembling, make sure that the " bottom" of the post is the end with the sticker. Because it won't screw all the way in if it's upside down. I have a 22 lb tabby who has no problem laying on the pedestals either. Great buy!
This cat tree is perfect for my two, larger, cats. It is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing to my living room environment. My cats love napping on it, scratching the posts, and sitting in the cubby hole. This is the second one I bought. The first one lasted 3 years before my cats tore it up. I looked into getting a different replacement, but this one worked out so perfectly, I decided to purchase it again. I highly recommend this product.
Picked this for two new kittens. Assembly was surprisingly simple, took about 45 minutes. seems very sturdy and with kittens I have not had to anchor it to a wall. Having said that, as they get heavier, I'm sure an anchor will be needed.
I’ve got two young cats. They were a little scared of it at first. Their old one feel apart. They love it. One cat won’t sleep anywhere else. There are two perches so there isn’t any fighting about who gets the perch. It’s very sturdy which is why I bought it the last one only lasted 3 years. It had a lot of parts but I managed to put it together without any problems. I hope it lasts for quite awhile. It’s very good looking too.
This is a "meh" cat tree, the walls of the houses are only stretched material, no solidness, makes it lighter than the old construction and anchoring is a must. We had to reattach the support tube to one of the platforms, it was wobbling really bad and we discovered it only had one staple holding it altogether, the others weren't actually in it or bent, and it still kinda wobbles. See that cut-out of the level where the top condo is? that makes it awkward for the cats look at that, smh. This is not a cat condo I can recommend. two paws down
This is a nice tree and maybe my cats just need more time. The carpeting material feels very smooth but is not very thick. This means my cats have a little difficulty digging in their claws when climbing. They can climb, but it’s not as easy as it should be. I have another tree with thicker carpeting that’s better. Secondly the open area (ledges) are narrow making climbing down tricky. The smooth carpeting makes this part more challenging too. I think, given time they will grow into it and adjust. For now, they prefer to jump on my desk then transfer into the tree. Coming down they also transfer to the desk instead of climbing down. They like the nests at the top. They don't have much interest in the cubby holes. Overall it’s good and value priced.
After a few months of use, the tubes connecting the top beds, which my cats liked the most, disconnected and fell off the tree. We’ve tried to reconnect to no avail. The cats don’t really trust it anymore, so it doesn’t get much use.
