Just what I was looking for! I moved into a small apartment but wanted to get my girls a large tree to be able to hide and people/bird watch from a high height as they were used to at my parent's house. With 2 cats, I love that this comes with a condo and perch for each one. At almost 7 years old, they both easily are able to climb to the highest perch, but need to be careful coming down as the space is limited and a little slippery because of the carpet. They are both fairly average sized, around 12lbs and fit in all areas very comfortably. I assembled this by myself within roughly 1 hour. Highly recommend!
I ordered this cat tree for my cats because I was tired of them scratching on my stuff and I wanted them to have their own space to be cats. Assembly was easy , it took my fiancé about 20 minutes to get it up. My cats were already trying to lay on it before it was built. So far it’s really good and they play and sleep all day in it. It’s really tall and pretty to look at! My cats love how soft it is . So far no rips or tears!
Excellent cat condo with plenty of space for multiple cats. The two square perches have removable elastic beds which my cats love since they have comfy edges. It’s also great because you can remove them to wash them and remove fur. I have three cats who are almost 2 years old and are very rambunctious. They are constantly jumping on the condo and playing on it with each other and it doesn’t fall over. I don’t have it secured to the wall so I’m pretty impressed. I would highly recommend this product if you have multiple cats!
This was great when my cats were kittens. But after a few months of having 2 cats jumping on/off and resting, the top bed broke off and the second bed will soon follow. Assembly was easy. I do like how the bed fits on like a pillow case and allows for laundering. Too bad it will be retired.
I think this cat tree is very nice - easy to assemble for the most part. However…My cat has arthritis, is about 12 lbs and is 12 years old and sadly the upper half has very little flat space for her to stand on and the tiers are staggered like steps. She was able to navigate our old tree with no problem at all. That was because the center platform had more space and was set at an angle. She is very hesitant to climb this one bc there is just not enough room and the tiers are not like steps. I wish I could have pictured this issue prior to buying it but it’s too late now. We are going to try to set a stool or something next to it - or take part of it off so she can sit and take in the view again. I just feel sad for her. If you have an older or larger cat, I’d look for a better design that isn’t so straight up vertical. If your cat is a crazy nimble climber, I do recommend it.
Replacement parts are NOT sold. You WILL need them. Or you will buy a whole new cat tree. Buy wood and carpet. That will last. Too much sisal rope which quickly gets pulled off and leads to bits of rope scattering or grabbing your shoe as you walk by. This tree is 11 months old. Cats have scratched through cardboard posts. Collapse is imminent.
This cat tree was well worth the money, especially since it was on sale! Two of our three cats had claimed territories in the living room, but this cat tree helped establish a neutral zone. I've actually seen all three on the tower at once--that was an accomplishment! One of our cats is afraid of heights (I'm serious), so she stays in the bottom half of the tower. The highest landing got in the way of our oldest cat gaining access the first landing, so we simply removed the top one, and the tree still looks fine. This makes the tree more like 50 inches rather than 61, and that's okay. If you have active cats who like to perch up high, they'll love all 61 inches of this tree!
I have hade the cat tree for about a month and the round support bases are not solid a gradually keep coming loose when you keep tightening them this resulted in the staples that holed the cylinders to the base to pull out. This caused the top platform to tumble to the ground with my cat on it..
This was meant to be a replacement for an older tree that has seen better days. The cat I had prefers her old tree. The one I just adopted loves it. The tree is sturdy and well made. What I don't like is the screws are visible in some areas. I'll say it's highly unlikely to happen, but I worry about them possibly hurting a cat's nail while climbing.
The cat condo went together without issue. Super simple instructions and the parts were all there lol. Cats couldn't wait to start playing in/on it so they helped themselves as I assembled it lol. Looks nice too once all put together and in place.
