I’ve had this for about 3 months now. I got this cat tree because of its looks, of course but also mostly because I have two large cats and I’ve had to send trees back because of that. Both of my cats are about 13-14 pounds, Pumpkin is short and round and Nox is long and Maine coon like. Pumpkin loves I’ve had this for about 3 months now. She only uses the more open cubby and that makes it worth it. We used to lift her up to the top tier and she’d go nuts, she loved it so I ended up removing that top scratching post and Velcroing the bed to the cubby below and now she can get up there. Even my very lengthy cat didn’t have an easy time trying to get up there. The bottom cubby is never used. I even tried removing the circle opening so it more open. The scratching post are used often and those are pretty nice. It’s pretty study too. Overall all, this is a pretty solid price for what it is but this largest one at least, is not the one. … more

Most Helpful Critical Review
Read All 33 Critical ReviewsLooks great but not very useful in design.

I usually read the reviews before purchasing. Don't know why I didn't this time. If I had, I wouldn't have bought it. I didn't notice the flaw in the design until I was halfway through assembling it. I assembled it anyway thinking maybe I was wrong. I wasn't. The middle square and the very top tier I usually read the reviews before purchasing. Don't know why I didn't this time. If I had, I wouldn't have bought it. I didn't notice the flaw in the design until I was halfway through assembling it. I assembled it anyway thinking maybe I was wrong. I wasn't. The middle square and the very top tier are the same size. There's no way a cat will be able to make that leap from the top of that middle box to the top tier. There's no room to maneuver. Both of my cats tried and tried to no avail. The top of the middle box is as far as they got. Now I'll have to think of a way to rig the design so they can get to that top tier. Maybe see if I can extend the top of the middle box out by adding another piece of wood that extends out. Shame to have to ruin the look of it especially since it wasn't cheap and the reason I bought it was for the modern clean lines. Whoever designed this probably doesn't have a cat. … more

Cat Studio
By BBoo on Jan 18, 2021
I have 2 cats about normal size each about 10 lbs and I wish there was more room at the top of the cat tree for them to lay down. I love the clean lines of it but some of the “wood finish” did start to come off as I was building it. It’s nice looking but keep looking and choose something else.

Buy this now!
By Kirsten on Jan 14, 2021
My kitten and 1.5 year old [BIG] cat love this tree so much! The oldest never leaves the top nest and they sometimes even snuggle up there together, though I'm not quite sure how they fit. I put this together in about 45 mins with no issues at all. It's been in use for about a month now and so far there are no signs of wear and tear. I'm totally happy with this purchase, the only downside was that they sold out of the grey before I could buy it.

This cat tree and condo is not only beautiful, but sturdy! Exactly the modern look I was going for.

SO BEAUTIFUL but disappointing
By Alyssa on Jan 6, 2021
First off, I was really excited to get this cat tree. My cats have LOVED cat trees in the past, and since we were also getting our first pup in the house, we bought them another cat tree so that they could have another place out of reach from the pup. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of this - it looks so pretty/stylish and different from carpeted trees that can looks old and ratty SUPER quick. It seems like the white fluffy mats are too slippery for them to jump on, and the cubes are just a little too small for them to relax comfortably in there. Maybe other cats have loved this, but for my two cats, this was a bad purchase. I wish I could return it, but we already constructed it and don't have the box. … more

Compromising for style
By EricaMeow on Jan 3, 2021
I despise the look of traditional carpeted cat trees and do like the way this looks. My cats are still small (8 lbs and 7 lbs, but these pics are from when they were smaller). They use the scratching posts often (but do prefer their taller one) and they sleep in the bottom box and on the middle landing. The bottom box is especially good for my girl who needs alone time away from her rambunctious brother. However, they can’t get to the upper level for the same reason others reviewers note. It’s not designed well in that regard. It is also rather slippery and needs more of the textured mats to keep them from sliding around. Have washed the soft white mats in the machine and air dried. Looks cute
By Skibee on Jan 1, 2021
I got this cat tree because it doesn't look like the furry, ugly trees all over the internet. I do like the looks of it, however, it is not made extremely well. The holes are not lined up correctly when putting the different layers on. Also, there is a band of dark "wood" on the edges of the shelves instead of them being all light wood. It still looks better than others available at the same price point.

Very amall
By Alex on Dec 31, 2020
My cat is a small adult and has to crouch to use the scratching posts. Also she doesn’t like going to the top because she has nothing to grip as she climbs to the top, the wood is to slippery. Maybe your cat would see this as an inviting challenge?
