About Frisco Cat Trees

Cat Trees With Sweet Amenities

Frisco Cat Trees are made for kitties to do everything they love to do. Whether your cat is an avid toy chaser or professional napper, she'll be able to do it all in one spot—her very own tree. With so many climbing, jumping, playing and scratching amenities, these trees are great for feline family members in multi-cat households.

Interactive Play Areas

Cats are natural hunters, so they can get a little frisky—even the couch kitties. Frisco Cat Trees have dangling toys like fuzzy balls, swinging ropes and classic mice to stalk and bat around. That's way better than pouncing on your feet under the covers or swatting a string that's hanging from your favorite sweater.

The Ultimate Watchtower

The higher up, the better, if you ask any cat. Frisco agrees, which is why they've added perches and platforms for climbing to the very top of the tower. It's the best view in the house, and the perfect lookout spot for kitty to keep an eye on her sprawling domain.

Kitty-Size Apartments

All-day snoozes are part of your cat's daily routine. Frisco Cat Trees are equipped with state-of-the-art studio apartments for hiding out or catching up on 16+ hours of sleep. They are soft, comfy and they have reinforced corners that are covered in faux fleece or plush material.

Scratcher's Delight

There are tons of places for scratching—a favorite kitty pastime. Let the clawing frenzy begin with high-quality scratch posts covered in durable sisal rope. Frisco's Cat Trees provide multiple posts, and most have scratch board ramps to satisfy this instinct.

2-in-1 Pet Steps

Frisco gives cats plenty of ways to get high off the ground, including pet steps. Set them up next to your kitty's favorite windowsill, or let them stand alone as a place to stretch, climb, play and lounge. These versatile steps offer two different height options to fit your needs. They come with easy-to-follow instructions so you can assemble them as three steps or four.

Questions & Answers

Is the carpeting already put on pieces or do we have to attach that as well as part of the assembly we need to do?
Answer by ChewyNov 12, 2017
The perches and base will have the faux fur attached and the posts will have sisal rope attached upon arrival. For assembly, you will connect the posts and perches.

What's the maximum weight this can hold?
Answer by ChewyJun 07, 2020
This cat tree doesn't have a weight capacity and was designed for cats of all sizes. Cat trees are tested to ensure standalone stability, and wall anchors are provided as an option for additional stability. The lower apartment measures 12.5 x 19.5 x 12 inches and the upper apartment measures 12.5 x 12.5 x 10 inches.

How long are the ramps?
Answer by ChewyMay 08, 2021
The two scratch board ramps measure approximately 13.7 inches long x 5.5 inches wide.

How big are the openings to the kitty houses on this tower? I have one fairly large cat and I'd like to ensure he'll fit in there. Thanks!
Answer by ChewyNov 08, 2017
The condo door openings are about 7.5 inches wide and about 7.8 inches tall.

Best cat tree I have ever had

I have 3 crazy, high energy cats that use their cat tree constantly. Usually they last around 6-8 months because of how unstable and ratty they end up looking. This one has lasted over a year and 4 months and I would keep using it but I've already moved it to a different apartment once and I'm moving again and I'd rather just buy a new one. I honestly think this could last another 4 months AT LEAST. Obviously the cord/rope is tattered a lot, but it's still so sturdy I've just been rotating it every so often so they focus on scratching different areas. Nothing is so tattered that I can see cardboard or whatever would be underneath it. Seriously. I have purchased numerous cat trees over the years and this is the absolute best one i've ever had. I am purchasing a new one for my new place!

Sturdy structure and fabric. Long lasting cat tree

Bought one of these back in March 2020, I still have it and it's in perfect shape other than a small piece of carpet shredded on the bottom corner of the base. Had to rewrap 4 of the sisal rope poles once a couple of months ago due to normal wear and tear but I've only done that once since the entire time I've had it and I have three cats. It's sturdy and held up amazingly well against my three hyper clawing kitties. Buying another one to add to another room and will buy again if I ever need another one.

72 inch Cat tree

My cats love this, they especially like the highest level I am very pleased with the item. The only thing was a missing bolt for the upper condo. It is staying in place with the smaller bolt in the hole, but would be more stable with the right one. Over all, I recommend this if you have more than one cat.

Not purrfect but pretty close!

A fairly sturdy cat tower! If everything is fully tightened then there is minimal wiggling but they also do provide a wall anchor that secures the top. (I’d only not recommend this tower if you’ve got an overweight cat or big cat and can’t anchor it to the wall.) The fabric is very soft but there’s no cushion between the fabric and the wood so it’s soft but not plush like some towers are. (My previous one was a canvas style fabric with foam between the fabric and wood.) The.. rope? Twine? Whatever it’s called that the cats scratch on, was very rough and occasionally splintered off into my fingers while assembling it. Not all of the posts did this but still not pleasant. Otherwise, a very good tower and my boys enjoyed a quick nap in the top roosts!

Remove the toys

Ive had this cat tree for about a year now. Setting it up was simple and the instructions were clear. It took about half an hour to set up with the help of someone. It is pretty wobbly so Id recommend using wall mounts or weighing it down. My cat weighs 11lbs so if your cat weighs the same or more be mindful of the wobbliness. It does collect a lot of fur so youll have clean it at least every other day if you want it looking good as new. My cat doesnt like using sisal scratching posts so theyre in perfect condition. Most importantly please cut off the rats. I was mindful of the reviews about it beforehand but still supervised my cat while she played with them and although she didnt get injured it couldve quickly turned into a major accident. Overall with the exception of the toys I highly recommend this cat tree.

My cats love it, but...

I was hoping this cat tower would be perfect because it was pretty expensive. Unfortunately, it's not. One of the poles that holds one of the perches will not screw securely into the frame so it wobbles. My husband is going to try and brace it with angle brackets. Also, the fur from the carpet flies everywhere when my cats jump on the tower. Lastly, I found what appears to be cockroach droppings inside the box when I opened it. There were droppings on all the parts as well. That was not very pleasant. Kind of disappointed, but my cats are loving it. I recommend getting an Amarkat brand cat tower. They are a little more expensive but worth the extra cost.

Great cat tree

Highly recommend. Have had ours for 4+ years. It is just now needing half of the sisel on 2 of the posts replaced. Would buy again if ever needed. Only thing I wish that was available was replacement dangle toys, one cat chewed them off. I just recently removed the bottom dangle rope, frayed to much. Was worried they would swallow some.

Tree Condo re design

This new model has been modified from how it was previously made. The boxes are now collapsed for flatter shipping, but the new design when put together has less integrity than before. Our cats are larger cats, not maine coon large , but just heavy. When they use the beds they wiggle excessively and it is put together correctly and tight. The pre built boxes were more rigid in the construction. Price was good, we'll see how long it lasts.

It’s Pretty Good

Our 2 boys love this cat tree. I think they might like it a little bit too much because they are constantly playing on it. The tree itself is fairly simple to put together and with a drill it makes things go by a lot faster. The one downside is our cats constantly go up and down it while they have the zoomies so the platforms do start to wobble. The scratching posts also start to fall apart with overuse. Our boys are big cats so we don’t expect this tree to last forever but we do have to purchase a new one every year or so due to how much they use the tree. Thankfully it’s a decent price or I would stop buying it. We actually tried another tree and they hated it and had to go back to this one lol. I have recommended this tree to friends with smaller cats and theirs have held up a lot better than ours so I would definitely recommend you give it a try! :)

Not a bad buy

This tree was *not* easy to assemble. The directions were not clear and the bags of bolts were not labeled with their sizes. Yes, we could have measured each bolt to make sure we were using the correct size, but the manufacture should have labeled the bolt bags. Also, if you're looking for something with cushioning, do *not* buy this tree -- it is faux fur attached to very rigid wood, with no cushioning whatsoever. That said, my cats seem to enjoy the tree, especially my youngest, who likes the "apartments".
