About Frisco Cat Trees

Cat Trees With Sweet Amenities

Frisco Cat Trees are made for kitties to do everything they love to do. Whether your cat is an avid toy chaser or professional napper, she'll be able to do it all in one spot—her very own tree. With so many climbing, jumping, playing and scratching amenities, these trees are great for feline family members in multi-cat households.

Interactive Play Areas

Cats are natural hunters, so they can get a little frisky—even the couch kitties. Frisco Cat Trees have dangling toys like fuzzy balls, swinging ropes and classic mice to stalk and bat around. That's way better than pouncing on your feet under the covers or swatting a string that's hanging from your favorite sweater.

The Ultimate Watchtower

The higher up, the better, if you ask any cat. Frisco agrees, which is why they've added perches and platforms for climbing to the very top of the tower. It's the best view in the house, and the perfect lookout spot for kitty to keep an eye on her sprawling domain.

Kitty-Size Apartments

All-day snoozes are part of your cat's daily routine. Frisco Cat Trees are equipped with state-of-the-art studio apartments for hiding out or catching up on 16+ hours of sleep. They are soft, comfy and they have reinforced corners that are covered in faux fleece or plush material.

Scratcher's Delight

There are tons of places for scratching—a favorite kitty pastime. Let the clawing frenzy begin with high-quality scratch posts covered in durable sisal rope. Frisco's Cat Trees provide multiple posts, and most have scratch board ramps to satisfy this instinct.

2-in-1 Pet Steps

Frisco gives cats plenty of ways to get high off the ground, including pet steps. Set them up next to your kitty's favorite windowsill, or let them stand alone as a place to stretch, climb, play and lounge. These versatile steps offer two different height options to fit your needs. They come with easy-to-follow instructions so you can assemble them as three steps or four.

Questions & Answers

Is the carpeting already put on pieces or do we have to attach that as well as part of the assembly we need to do?
Answer by ChewyNov 12, 2017
The perches and base will have the faux fur attached and the posts will have sisal rope attached upon arrival. For assembly, you will connect the posts and perches.

What's the maximum weight this can hold?
Answer by ChewyJun 07, 2020
This cat tree doesn't have a weight capacity and was designed for cats of all sizes. Cat trees are tested to ensure standalone stability, and wall anchors are provided as an option for additional stability. The lower apartment measures 12.5 x 19.5 x 12 inches and the upper apartment measures 12.5 x 12.5 x 10 inches.

How long are the ramps?
Answer by ChewyMay 08, 2021
The two scratch board ramps measure approximately 13.7 inches long x 5.5 inches wide.

How big are the openings to the kitty houses on this tower? I have one fairly large cat and I'd like to ensure he'll fit in there. Thanks!
Answer by ChewyNov 08, 2017
The condo door openings are about 7.5 inches wide and about 7.8 inches tall.

Nice, But Not the Same

This is the same model of Cat Tree & Condo that we previously owned. Our old one was dark brown, but I ordered the grey this time. The old cat tree had solid sides to the boxed in 'condo' areas with cut outs for the cats to come in and out. The new one is just fabric - no support on the sides, but the tops and bottoms are still solid pieces. This might be a good thing if you have a heavier cat, because the sides will now have a bit of give to them. but I have doubts about how long this will hold up. Also, the sisal rope is much thinner that my previous cat tree. My cat scratched most of the sisal completely off the old cat tree, so I am waiting to see how long these sisal scratching posts last. My cat does LOVE it though. He spends hours in the condo box, and likes jumping and scratching at the posts. He chewed through the elastic strings that hold the furry mice and ball, the first day it was up. It would be nice if the manufacturer made replacement scratching posts available, for when cats scratch off/wear out the thin sisal rope they are using now. If this cat tree doesn't last as long as the last one, I will look for a different manufacurer next time.

my cats love it

i went with this cat tree because i HATE the carpet looking ones, i think they are so unattractive LOL. while this is extremely overwhelming with the cheetah print, i rather it much more. it always looks really clean which is another plus. I’ve taken it down & put back together several times, its very easy. my male cat(3 yrs old) loves sitting on the very top one, does not use the houses much. but the baby loves the houses. for the most part its pretty sturdy! my male cat is around 15lbs and it handles his weight just fine. it will shake if i move it but when he jumps on it i dont notice any shaking(even with it not near a wall). definitely super happy with this cat tree.

looks great but not sturdy

My kittens (6 months) starting playing with this before I even got it set up, they love it so much and it looks absolutely gorgeous. However, the whole tree wobbles whenever my cats play, at first I thought it was from me not putting in the bolts tight enough so I took it apart and had my husband put it together, still Wobbles. I live in a place that doesn’t get much earthquakes but if I lived somewhere like California I would not buy this. And honestly if I had more than 2 fully grown male cats I wouldn’t buy this either. Both my kittens are female and weigh less than 10 pounds, if I had a chunky boy this tree would’ve fallen over by now.

Unusual Poor Quality

I purchased a total of three of these lovely cat trees. And have encouraged several friends to do the same. I LOVE this product as do my sweet babies; and, I’ve received identical reviews from friends to whom I’d recommended the Frisch 72” cat tree. That is why I am so disappointed with the quality of this item. The “K” screw did not fit; I spent a lot of time attempting to thread the screws. (In addition to construction two of the same item previously, without issue, I built bike for a living for a year - know how to build). Ultimately, I used an “A” screw in lieu of the “K” and, as a result, could not build the last level. My kitty is sad. Remedy: I would like to get a replacement of the third (top) level and associated posts. This would allow me to construct the item as it is advertised, and the way I e constructed the cat tree twice in the past. I hope Frisch sees this and can offer assistance. Otherwise a wonderful product I’d like to recommend again in the future.

Review Frisco 72 inch Cat tower

This tower was a replacement for a well worn Frisco 72inch tower. It was NOT the same Quality and was more expensive. The Enclosed cubicles were flimsy low quality carpeting, no solid walls which I believe would be shredded in a matter of days. We really only needed the scratching posts and ramps so we used the new posts & ramps but kept all other parts because they were sturdier and better quality carpet. We were very disappointed overall and would prefer my account be closed permanently as we don't feel the quality of your products no longer meet our requirements.

Cats love it

This is in our living room next to a large window, they love sleeping there and watching the backyard. The scratch poles on the bottom are great, the middle and top ones they only use to help them climb. The two cube/rooms don't get much use but that's okay because the rest of the tower is used enough. Came with parts to secure it to the wall, very important!

Good but wobbly after 5 months.

My 2 cats love this thing, gives them a good birds eye view of the place. But when they race up and jump around the top perches, the unit tends to wobble. It was solid at first, bought in January. But around may-june I noticed it was getting wobbly. Was scared they would wall. I tried pushing it up against the wall, helps a little but still unstable. Tightening the screws also helps but not as much as one would think. Would I buy again? Probably not. Maybe if it was on sale.

Just as good as the last three!

I end up buying one of these about once every 12 months, because I have 7 cats that play very hard (if you have 1-2, or even 3 cats, I bet this will last a lot longer). We noticed this time around that Frisco has changed the way the kitty condos are built. We were concerned that it wouldn't be sturdy enough without solid walls, but we were pleasantly surprised by how well it's holding up to late night zoomies and wild acrobatics. It also seems to be just a bit taller than the last one we bought (even though they're the same product), which is fun, because now our cats can put their paws on the ceiling. We like to reflect light up there from time to time for them, and it seems to be endlessly fascinating. Definitely recommend!

Had it a month and falling apart

I have one 7 lb cat and one 10lb cat. The perches are all very wobbly and they weren’t when I assembled it. The faux fur lining is coming off on 2 of the perches. I’ve had to re glue it on. I’m already looking into getting a new one with the way the perches all wobble. I guess you get what you pay for and it was very cheap for a cat tree it’s size. I had thought it would last longer than a month though.

Works well enough

Only one of my three cats seems interested in this. She's a one-year-old and the other two are a few years older. Hopefully that changes but as long as one is happy that's good. Wasn't too hard to build but took all morning. It's a beautiful cat tree and very tall it might be a little overpriced but it's worth it if they all love it.
