    Amazing cat tree!

By Schwarzkopf on Apr 3, 2021

I can't find a single negative thing to say about this cat tree. My cat started putting it to good use before I was even halfway done putting it together. She's used every single part except for the diagonal scratch posts. Very soft and comfy, very sturdy and very stable. I just put it in the corner I can't find a single negative thing to say about this cat tree. My cat started putting it to good use before I was even halfway done putting it together. She's used every single part except for the diagonal scratch posts. Very soft and comfy, very sturdy and very stable. I just put it in the corner of the room, so there was no need to anchor it to the wall or anything. Also a very convenient place to put her food where my dog can't get reach it. :-) I should also mention the instructions were quite clear and all the parts clearly labeled. Honestly, if I can put it together easily, a potted plant probably could, too. … more

    It's....fine.

    By CatLover2017 on Apr 10, 2021

So, I bought this hoping it would be a dupe of the Amarkat tree I've purchased 3 times in a row. It's fine, but really doesn't even come close. Here are my gripes: 1) The perches are a little smaller. 2) The condo cubbies are a LOT smaller. Not one of my cats has lain inside. 3) The ramps are useless So, I bought this hoping it would be a dupe of the Amarkat tree I've purchased 3 times in a row. It's fine, but really doesn't even come close. Here are my gripes: 1) The perches are a little smaller. 2) The condo cubbies are a LOT smaller. Not one of my cats has lain inside. 3) The ramps are useless. I've tried everything to get my cats to notice them, I've used catnip, scratched the woven material so they would hear the sound, even resorted to setting one on it, and...nothing. Useless, I tell you. 4) The instructions have you attach the first ramp as you move to the next level, in that you're building from the bottom up. Which you'd think would be fine (as I did), but then as I continued attaching the other parts, and moving around to tighten the screws with the allen wrench, I literally tripped on the ramp and fell sideways onto the large box from which I'd recently removed the parts, crushed the box, bruised the top of one foot quite badly, and also scratched my arm on the sisal posts that were yet unattached. It sounds funny now, but it was painful, so much so that I put "write to Chewy about the Frisco ramps" on my to-do list. Ummm...that isn't something I'd normally do, so take it however you choose. The tree is....fine. The ONE thing that I did like was that the inside of the condos didn't have any material inside, it was just the raw processed press board, which would prevent a need to collect cat hair from it. But that's it. I really really wish I'd gotten the Armarkat. … more
