While both cats enjoyed clay litter, we found that they had a tendency to get clay footprints on everything that was very hard to get rid of! This was despite cleaning the litter boxes multiple times a day. The two cats had a penchant for getting their paws wet from shower floors, sinks, doormats, and other wet surfaces as well (why??). To avoid litter paw prints everywhere, I've switched to clay-alternative litter. I went through five other clay-alternative litters before settling on this one. Often on the other litter types the one choosy cat would poop in the litter, and pee outside in front of the box. This grass litter has done the trick, though, and it's been great! Pros: * Resealable bag. Not all clay-alternative litters have that. * Light weight by volume, comparatively. Really helps make it easier to move. * Good oder capture, doesn't smell bad. * Easy to clean up if they kick or track it out of the box. * Some choosy cats may like it better than the others! * Doesn't stick to paws and track prints everywhere. * Good clumping for a clay alternative litter. Cons: * Because it is lighter weight it gets kicked further. I keep a handheld vacuum nearby to clean up. * The suggestion on the box is to keep a deeper level of litter than what other litters may need, which might cause you to go through more. I think this was balanced by the fact that the lighter the litter, the more volume you get for a 20lb bag. … more

I think there was larvae in my bag. I put some in my litter box the first day I got it, and then closed the bag and put it away. After a few days, when I went to open the bag and add more litter to my box, I noticed some dark brown bits in it. I didn't remember it looking like that the first time, so I think there was larvae in my bag. I put some in my litter box the first day I got it, and then closed the bag and put it away. Multicat household
By Kate on Feb 26, 2021
I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with 3 cats (I know squished) but we have 3 litter boxes. all we smell with this litter is cat pee / poop all day I do not recommend if you do not have a separate spot for your litter. (ours is in the living room). not great on odor control and it tracks literally everywhere.

Excellent!

This is really good litter. Light, eliminates odors and last longer. I wish it wasn’t so pricey or I would buy more.

Clumps well, great odor control, cats love it! The dogs love to eat litter which is why I got this one so I know they're eating grass.

Moths in Each Bag
By Golfgal on Feb 4, 2021
Cats use it fine and the cost is good, but every time I open a bag, I am getting moths all over inside the house, and when I swat them, they leave black smudges on my white walls. This didn't happen when I first bought this a few years ago, but moths are in every bag now and I'm ready to move on.

I like it more than my cats
By Giedrusia on Feb 3, 2021
I've been trying different litters that are good for my cats, and less dusty, smelly. My cats seem ok about this litter, it has no smell of artificial chemicals, not dusty. I prefer the one lightly sensed though.

Pleasantly surprised!
By Sami on Jan 28, 2021
We made the switch from clay litter because every time my cat came out of the box she was covered in dust!! My picky cat has no problem using it, and she doesn’t have clumps of clay stuck on her paws. It is a little odd (looks like bread crumbs) but it clumps in a less wasteful and much cleaner way than clay! I was just expecting to be happy that there was no dust but it did a great job with neutralizing smell, clumping cleanly, and being liked by my picky cat!

Good, but messy
By Messy on Jan 27, 2021
I really like this litter, it is lightweight and totally unscented. My cat with allergies is doing very well with it too. Only one problem. It’s so light that it’s easily tracked everywhere. Plan to run the sweeper every single day.

Happy paws!
By Rosie on Jan 25, 2021
My senior cat seems to appreciate the smooth texture under his paws. The downside to this wonderful mixture is that it tracks everywhere. I just keep my vacuum and a throw rug close by.
