Great chucker, comes with squeaky ball ordered and received in 1 day.
I was looking forward to using this because it has more flex than the older Chuck It one we have, which is like swinging a pipe! Guess what, it doesn't work with the Chuck It balls that we already have. It is just a tiny bit smaller, and the balls don't come out when they should. Pretty much useless as soon as the included ball is destroyed by your dog. This will be fast, too, since the ball is not nearly as tough as the Chuck It ones are. Save your money, get one that will work with regular tennis balls and Chuck It balls.
I broke my arm and can’t throw as far as I used to quite yet so I decided to get this. It’s amazing, my dog loves is and was quickly burnt out from all the running. My yard is about 70ft from deck to fence and it went clear across the yard. Could probably have gone farther without the fence but it’s amazing. And I can use it with other tennis balls if I do lose the one it came with.
This launcher works fine for its' own balls. Because I have a lifetime supply of free tennis balls, I'm unhappy because I thought I could use those in this thrower. Real tennis balls are slightly too big and don't release from the thrower except in a totally unpredictable way. So sad
I had this for only a few days. I use multiple types of balls for this, including the chuck-it's. On the second or third day I went to throw an average tennis ball and the basket broke causing it to no longer hold balls. Have to throw away now. Will not purchase this item ever again and you shouldn't either. The chuck-it brand is better.
Ordered this for a new launcher but the chuck it balls don't fit and my dog will only chase rubber chuck it balls. The sweeky ball that comes with it she likes as an indoor toy but will not chase it. I will need to order the thrower for chuck it balls
Our heeler loves to run and has a ton of energy. He will wear your arm out throwing a ball. This toy is great, we can launch it far, over and over again without our own arm feeling like it is going to fall off.
This is a great launcher - especially for the price. The ball it comes with is smaller than a tennis ball, but it will also launch tennis balls. I tried it with the bigger balls and it doesn't work - stick with tennis balls! It launches much farther that I can throw and my dog enjoyed the extra running and wanted to play so much more that I had a sore forearm the next day!
I am pushing 70 years old and my 3yeat old loves a tennis ball chase! Probable triples the distance with an effortless throw.
This is not a good chucker if you want to use conventional tennis balls. They do not fit. My forearm hurts as a result of trying to make it work. While I was looking for "value" it was not. I now need to buy the more expensive version.
