If your concerned about sie, measure. this is roughly 9x5 inches. My 1 yr old is an active cat and loves the spinning balls on the frisco scratcher. He Won't Touch This. It is to small for his liking, making this great for kittens for confidence building, ect. but not for an almost full grown cat who needs to crouch down to even look at the first set of balls. For what it is, its a little on the cheaper side of things, thinner plastic and smaller balls. You get what you paid for.
I got this toy for my cat who is easily bored because I thought it would keep his attention. He plays with it for about 10 seconds at a time and thats it. When I first put it together for him he was very interested and played with it for a few minutes. The bee and leaf attachments seem to get in his way when he tries playing with the balls. It is also too flimsy and lightweight for him as he is constantly knocking it over. It is a very appealing looking toy though, just not for my kitty. Will probably donate to the local humane society.
My young, demanding friend loves this toy. She goes to it frequently and it seems to be very enriching. She incorporates it in a kind of play routine, and I also hear playing with it after bed time. We're both very happy with it!
The four month old kitten loves this toy so much! And, surprise - the older cats love it, too! They played with it for hours before giving up to nap. I'm sure they'll be back to it as soon as they wake up. I hope it holds up because it's a very fun toy for them and doesn't take up much space.
I bought a purple one with a rainbow and unicorn and my cats loved it! I bought this one so they could each have their own. They love this one, too! One of the best cat toys. Easy to build. They love it.
We have a little kitten that has decided to adopt us as her parents. She is so friendly and sweet. Totally loves this toy. You can add other small balls to it to increase the fun. It is durable so far for a kitten. She has been able to get the ball out on the bottom row but so far not on the other two. We recommend it for hours of fun.
I am certainly not going to blame this cat toy for failing to interest our cats. With plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play in, including their own catnip patches, I didn't have high hopes. I will pass it along to another local cat owner in hopes that it provides more stimulation. Who knows, it just might turn into the rotating unwanted Christmas gift that gets rotated all over the place! And now for the toy. It is made reasonably well. The manufacturer could have done a bit better with the tongue-and-slot accuracy, as there was challenges getting the pieces to properly align and snap into place. I am also concerned that the bee might be easy to destroy and that small pieces could be swallowed by over-stimulated cats. All said, it's certainly an adequate toy for the right cat. It is amusing that it is not recommended for play by humans!
My cats took this apart within two weeks. I have two kittens that absolutely obsess over it, and they managed to get all the balls out and pull apart the levels. Luckily, nothing broke, and it could easily be put back together. The enjoyment they're getting out of it for the price is well worth it.
I have a very active young cat, and keeping him entertained is a challenge. This is the best toy ever! He spends loads of time keeping all three balls spinning, and batting at the bee. Plus, it's very cute to watch him.
My cat loves this toy. It was easy to put together and then she played with it for an hour straight. It’s kept her attention far longer than any other toy, except for the squeaky mouse I also bought from Chewy.
