This has been a great puzzle for my Great Pyrenees puppy. I was worried he'd easily destroy it or the treat spots would be too small for him. It gave him a challenge at first but he eventually worked out how to get the treats and food out. He can be an aggressive chewer, but so far he hasn't tried to destroy the plastic pieces. He easily solved the outer ring slidables, but the inner ring keeps him occupied for awhile each time as he hasn't completely mastered it and usually misses a few treats. He gets adorably frustrated and keeps going back all day to try to get the couple he's missed. Highly recommend for any dog of any size.
I was looking for something a little more challenging for my dog (Parson Russell Terrier), in an attempt to make him work a little harder for his treats! The first time it took him a little while to figure out the outer compartments, but he got it eventually! :P The inner compartments (under the white "wheel" on top) took much longer! He was trying to lift it rather than turn it. I couple times he even lifted the whole toy to look underneath. Now that he's played with it a few times, he's very quick at getting the outer treats, inner takes a little longer, but the toy as a whole, makes him work a little harder than his last toy, which he figured out in seconds!
I love all of the different compartments to hide his treats in. It kept him busy for a while. I actually got to eat my dinner in peace. It took him no time to figure out how to move the knobs to the side to retrieve his treats. I was pretty impressed. They slid over easy which kept the puzzle in place. Unlike others he has had in the past where they would slide all over the floor.
Yoshi and I are enjoying this puzzle toy! He’s already figured out the easier aspects so we’re just starting to work on the more challenging features. I love toys we can play with together! It provides him new challenges and also challenges me to figure out how to work with him at his pace so he’ll feel successful after every play session!
I have a 11 year old golden retriever and she has never played with puzzles before but she loved this one! It took her a little but of time to understand how to open the compartments but once she did she went through almost all of them easily. The outside ones are easy to move with the mouth or paws but the center circular piece is a hard one. She has not been able to figure that one out, since it needs to be turned multiple times. Overall a fun way to give your dog treats and a good addition to play time. Sturdy enough that it will survive a few bites but do not leave your dog unattended with it.
I purchased this toy to enrich the life of my lovable mutt, Molly. Much to my surprise, my daughter's mini dachshund jumped in and started solving the puzzle and hogging all the treats. They love it! It's durable and a good challenge. The revolving disk in the middle adds an extra challenge.
This Frisco interactive Puzzle Dog is so much fun for my dog. I hide some treats in each compartment of the base and watch my dog try and find them. This toy stimulates my dogs mind and keeps him from barking excessively. It can provide fun for adult dogs if all ages, sizes and breeds. It’s also very easy to clean and I like that it is BPA, PVC and Phthalate free. My dog just loves this toy!!!
Frisco - Frisco Bento Interactive Puzzle Dog Toy is a very modern game that is very colorful and sturdy that keeps my dog interested and active in finding her treats by using her abilities and she loves to play it all the time. I received this product free of charge in return for my honest opinion.
The dog puzzle is enjoyed by my dog every day. The toughness of the puzzle isn’t very hard or maybe I just have a really smart dog. My dog enjoys using it. We use full size treats that require to be broken down significantly since the containers are small for food.
I have a four year old Golden Retriever that loves to play ball. We wanted to give him stimulation with other toys so we thought a puzzle would be perfect. This was a first for us so we wanted to start with a moderate vs advanced toy. We got the Frisco Bento Interactive Puzzle Moderate as we didn't know if he would enjoy it. Not only does he love it, but our two sons have so much fun hiding the treats and teaching him how to use the toy. After a few attempts my dog is a pro. The kids now play games with him and the puzzle and time how long it takes to find all of the treats. We have been using cheerios as the treat in the puzzle. Perfect item for our dog.
