Are Frisco Shampoos safe to use on a dog with hot spots?
It is always recommended that you consult your vet first. If your dog has hot spots present and your vet has advised bathing is okay, Frisco Shampoos would be safe to use. We do recommend using the Frisco Anti-Itch and the Frisco Oatmeal Shampoos as these are specially formulated to help improve the moisture balance of the skin.
How soon after or before applying a topical flea application should I wait to bathe my dog?
It is recommended that you bathe your dog immediately prior to applying a flea treatment. Surfactants in the shampoo are designed to lift dirt and oils from the skin, therefore they will remove the topical flea treatment if the pet is washed immediately after application. If you do need to bathe your dog after application, it is typically recommended to wait 24-48 hours but also consult the instructions of your topical flea provider.

I switched from this shampoo to another and instantly regretted it. My Bichon's fur became rough, not as soft, and didn't look good after more than a day. I instantly noticed a difference after giving her a bath today. She was easier to blowdry, soft, fluffy, and smells great. Thankfully I purchased the gallon size, so I won't run out anytime soon.
Ok, I have not seen any reviews about using this on cats, and I pray I never do. Aloe Vera is not good for cats and cats will lick their fur after being shampooed. Fragrance is dangerous and Definitely the colors are extremely toxic and dangerous. This Shampoo contains D&C Red No. 33, FD&C Blue No. 1. We would like to know why these dangerous chemicals are being used in pet products??? Oatmeal is not recommended for pets who have skin conditions such as yeast infection. See Dr. Karen Becker Veterinarian on youtube for more info. Glycerin when used in pets foods is causing kidney disease. Fragrance should never be used on pets. Pearlizers are emulsifyers. List of chemicals to avoid: https://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/20-ingredients-dont-want-dogs-shampoo/ Tick and Flea shampoo also has killed many pets. The ingredients are deadly. PLEASE only use safe organic ingredients on your pets. You can make your own shampoo with Applecider vinegar, castile soap, and a drop of organic lavendar or peppermint oil.
We recently switched to this shampoo and I just wanted to say that this shampoo smells great! Our maltishi looks great after her baths and the scent lasts longer than a week.
My merle chihuahua looks so much better with this shampoo! Really brightens up his coat. I like the smell too - not too strong or perfume-scented.
I've only used it on the dog one time so we'll see how it works over time for her weekly baths. I do think that I noticed a difference from the first use though. Her fluffy white butt looks even brighter white. It smells nice too.
