Sloth is Superior
Some of the other 'models' have tails or other appendages - these were quick to be chewed off. The sloth doesn't have this issue. I would repurchase the sloth but can't say the same of the beaver. The toys are otherwise essentially identical. Definitely not indestructible but the dogs did enjoy it. It could be used as a chew or a tug toy which was nice for our two boys (adult lab, pit/shephard puppy). I would say these were a favorite of the puppy while they lasted. From the owner perspective, it was great to not have to clean up a stuffing explosion when it did bite the dust. The interior was a plastic bag type material - if your pups are getting close to chewing through or if they're superchewers, I would suggest supervision so you can pick that up quickly. I do wish there were more styles without tails/floppy ears/arms or that those parts were more durable.
Cute But Flimsy
My 40-lb terrier loved Mr Crinkle Sloth to death within 12 hours of its arrival. He extracted the squeaker, which was in a mesh bag, and pulled out the cellophane in little bits, so I wouldn't think this is the safest toy for strong chewers. He has other Frisco toys that have lasted much longer. The rope monkey was great for a few months. The textured hippo is still intact after many months. I won't buy Sloth again.
Super Fun!
My puppy is 10 months old and this is so fun for her. A squeaky in two areas, and the crispy sound of paper makes it a stimulating toy for her. Fun to watch her toss it around!
Squeaking sloth toy
My dog loves it. It makes squeak and crinkle sounds as well as extends and retracts. Fun tug toy. Not sure if it would stand up to big dogs.
Cute but not durable
This is not for chewers. Its a cute toy but again, my guy chewed off the toes of the sloth and now the hard has opened at the seams too.
Both dogs love it!
Our Chihuahua has loved this toy since we got him and we have had to buy 3 more since then because our new corgi loves it as well and they end up destroying it after some time. I'd say it lasts 4-6 mos before we need to buy a new one. By far their favorite toy, so worth it!
Poorly made
My dog chewed out a seam on the face and had the squeaker out in less than 10 minutes of play. Cute toy but not well made.
Good purchase
Because my two weeks old Havanese puppy Meeko loved the plush giraffe so much, I got this one for him. It's a little bigger and heavier than the giraffe. But has the same texture, light weight. It's very easy for him to bite and chew on it, drag and play around with it. The puppy loved play with it!
Cute but a Bad squeaky toy
Got this for our Maltese/shitzu yesterday. It has a bad squeaker. Only squeaks once in a while. Our dog is 12 lbs and he can't make it squeak half of the time. I tried it also, is Not a good squeaky toy. Our dog loses interest quickly when he can't make the toy squeak.
He loves it!
This was a great buy! My toy poodle adores this toy. It's almost as long as he is, but he still drags it around wherever he goes. He rests his head on the toy and enjoys all of the sounds it makes. The middle of the toy sounds like a bag of chips, to be honest. He's a chewer, but I think it will hold up well.
