With this castle cardboard cat house, there won’t be any doubt as to who really rules your home. It features all the classics fit for a royal feline—two levels for their lounging pleasure, each with a corrugated cardboard scratch pad (the best stuff to scratch on in all the kingdom!), and, well, we skipped the moat thing because most cats don’t love water. Your royal purr-ness.

Honestly, the product was well made and great quality. The cats loved it, but maybe it's not the best option for plus size cats. However, that's on me and the amount of treats I pass out. They've been dieting, this is the reason I bought the house in hopes that it would encourage exercise. Potato Doug now uses it as his new sleep spot. We'll keep trying our best, it's all we can do.
It was fairly easy to put the first story together but I could not add the second story, but Smoky enjoys it and uses the scratcher inside.. I might add that I have problems with my vision so that is why I had problems with finishing it..I am happy with this product , no complaints. Thank you .
I bought this castle to replace an old one that was a leftover from my previous cat's time with me. The new castle is an upgrade over the previous model--sturdier, better-looking (the graphics are much better than what was on the earlier play castle), a bit bigger for more comfort for kitties. The one flaw is in the top piece, which forms the parapet of the castle's upper level. The cardboard cutout just sits on top of the top-floor braces. It's in no danger of falling through, but it is not anchored in any way in the space where it sits; there are no tabs to insert into slots to hold it in place. Thus, when the cats jump up on the top surface, they have a tendency to knock it out of place. I have not yet tried to hold it in place with glue; that would probably solve the issue--but the purchaser shouldn't have to take that extra step. Better design would figure out a way to anchor the top piece to the rest of the structure as part of the initial assembly. Otherwise, a fine product.
One of the best things I've ever bought for my little fur babies. They are the queens of the castle! I bought this for them for Christmas and it's the middle of August now and still standing. It's had its share of wear and tear so I'm looking to get them a new one. Both cats are 2 years old and 8-9 pounds. We have it against a glass sliding door so when they come running at it, it doesn't fall over. They knock the top off sometimes but we just put it back on. We have not had to reinforce with any tape or anything which is good because one of the kitties likes to eat tape and stickers... This castle has become the petting spot when we come home from work everyday. When we open the door, they run straight to the castle and roll around on top to get pets. We have had to flip the scratchers over as they scratched them up pretty good but at least it's getting use! They love chewing on cardboard so we do have to watch them and make sure they aren't eating any of it but we give them dental toys to keep them chewing on those instead. Again, they absolutely love this house and I'm so looking forward to buying more and trying new cardboard houses. Just bought a replacement today so hopefully the second one holds up as well as the first! (Pictures were taken about 2 weeks after we assembled the castle. You can see they've been nibbling on the corners.)
We bought the castle and TV for our kitties for Christmas. The castle is going strong after almost a year! It’s a favorite spot for hiding and napping.
The cats love this. Especially the black one that is in the bottom portion, in the shadows. That's her new favorite safe space.
Super cute!! Great design that they can go on both the top and bottom. 4 stars only because the top supports for the scratcher could be a little more secure, tape fixed it. But great scratcher for the price.
Have you dreamed of seeing your cat gazing forlornly out of the window of its own personal castle? Then this product may be for you.
My friend saw this and suggested it for my cats. I have to admit a was a little skeptical but for the price I figured why not. Well I put it together and added a little catnip for encouragement and they are having a blast with their new castle.
It doesn’t even go together like it’s suppose to. The top part is just junk. Cat was happier with the cardboard box I got for free.
