I have the Furminator, but needed a more gentle brush for my Lab. This brush is perfect as there are two options and both work great.

Exactly what I expected. Ergonomic handle; very comfortable to hold. The bristles are not stiff and hard. Our dogs really love being brushed with it. I also like that there is a hole at the end of the handle for hanging up.

Actually like/love this brush. My critique is it's larger than I expected, my fault not the Frisco brand. My kitties are little, but they're getting used to the brush, and I keep it out after we've played and they're ready to rest.

Would not recommend for a cat. This brush is big. Definitely for a dog not really a cat brush.

The metal comb won't get a lot of furs from my kitty. It hard to remove fur from thin brush.

Most of my corgi's hair is short, but we all know how hard it is to get the fluffy butt brushed, especially when they are shedding. This brush is perfect! The pin side combs through the longer hair, and then the soft bristle side helps with their finer or tender areas. :-)

This is by far the best brush I’ve used on my long haired cats!

It was a little larger than I expected, but does the job just fine. Decent price as well. Would be too large if you have a really small dog under 12 lbs. or so (My dog is 20 lbs.).

As with all my other orders, this is exactly what I wanted. The pin bristle side works beautifully on the long coat and she loves the brushing while she receives it. The shorter bristle side does the same for the short haired companion.
