After cleaning the system ( pump and bowl), the pump has a low water sensor so make sure water level is at the max before powering up the pump.

would not recommend - pump way too touchy

I would not recommend this fountain at all. It is pretty and when it flows, it flows nicely, but the pump is way too touchy. What I mean is, it wants everything to be in *just the right* place to make the pump flow and I cannot for the life of me figure out how it likes it. I just cleaned it last week (because when it stops flowing, I clean it and that usually gets it to work again) but now it's just stopped. I've played with it trying to get it to be comfortable so it will flow again but I just cannot make it work. I've had this fountain for a little over a year.

Something wrong

I was so excited to get this. When it arrived I followed the instructions on the box which were simple except for one step that seemed humanly impossible putting a cover on top of something where a plug was coming out? I called chewy customer service was wonderful trying to help me track down the company or Emanuel we even looked on YouTube. I think the wrong instructions might have been in the Box so we found instructions for a different colored Fountain by the same company I got it to work for about 10 minutes it shut off and I have not been able to get it work ing again. I would really like to return this product and explore different options. But I do not have the original box please tell me how to get this resolved

too confusing

I’m giving up on assembling this item. What a shame because it’s beautiful and I like the fact that it’s ceramic. I simply cannot figure out how to assemble the pump parts. I’ll be returning this asap.

Pretty, but not ideal

This fountain is very pretty - solid, sturdy, and not too loud. However, like the other reviews, the sensor seems to work weird and it takes a lot of fiddling to get the motor back on after refilling. But customer service was great helping me with a refund :)

Do not buy this

This fountain looks great. Having read the reviews (the motor stops and doesn't restart if the water level gets low) I was careful to always keep it filled. However, I moved the fountain and it stopped working. I unplugged it, moved it and refilled it to make sure the water level was correct. It didn't turn back on.

Fancy water fountain, pump sucks

My cats love this water fountain and it is very decorative and "zen'like", however whenever I empty or clean the bowl, the pump does not want to turn back on. I have to take it all apart and get the electrode wet for it to work again, which is a real pain and hassle while holding it upside down and pouring water over it and setting it back in time (otherwise pump stops working again). Not sure if anyone else is having this problem or it is just a poor design for a pump.

Frisco Ceramic Fountain

My cats love this fountain! Not only are they drinking from it, but it fascinates them and keeps them busy just watching it and occasionally dipping a paw into the moving water.

Not quite ideal

This fountain looks nice and our cat likes it. We had a similar problem to other reviewers with the pump stopping after a short time. I thought it was totally broken, but then we removed the carbon filter and it started back up and is working fine now. Maybe this filter creates too much flow resistance. So try removing this filter before the pump burns itself out. It's also awkward to clean/refill.

Disappointed

My cats didn't like it it hurt their whiskers. And my dog didn't like it either. It was a waste of money that I guess I will never get back
