Frisco Cheese Interactive Cat Toy

We rescue cats to foster to adopt them. We've had 6 fosters so far. Our 7th was a foster fail, Gracie came to us at 2 years old. She was found alone in a cold barn in winter. Unlike many other cats, she doesn't like the conventional cat toys, she has to have interactive ones. Most interactive toys do everything for the cat, so no quality time for me. Once I received and opened the Frisco Interactive Toy, I was very excited. It's a toy I can enjoy with her, and interact with her. By way of pushing one of the two buttons to make the mice pop up. The size and quality are excellent! It's sturdy as well. The pop up mice are so cute with their fluffy fur on top of their heads. Which is one of my cats favorite things, she likes to swat at it, grab and chew on it. The catnip draws her attention like no other. It also comes with a couple balls that roll around, the shapes allow for my cat's paws to reach in and smack the balls around. Hours of fun and joy with this interactive toy. By far the best I've found, no extra piece, comes assembled too. I highly recommend!!! Would also be great for elderly cats that can't get around much, after surgery, etc.

Frisco Cheese Interactive Maze

No interaction at our house with this box. The only way I got my cats to look at it was to put some treats into the box but it is too deep for them to get them out. They were not interested in the two "pop up" mice which only pop up if I push them button. I thought interactive would mean they could do it and be interested.

Our cats love it!

As soon as we opened the box, our cat Elvis was right there impatiently waiting to see what was inside. I took the toy out and he immediately got into investigation mode. He figured it out right away and played with it for a good while. He loves putting his paws in the holes and trying to catch the balls. He also wanted to take the little mice out the box, biting them and licking them. He plays with the toy very often, even at 4 in the morning!! Our other cat loves it too, and they sometimes play together with it! The toy is sturdy enough so the cat can lean on it. The holes are big enough to fit the cat's paws. The mice are not properly aligned though so you have to manipulate them a little bit every now and then. Overall, this is a nice toy our cats seems to enjoy very much.

I guess its for cats, kids and dogs!

My cats aren't very playful anymore, they have become indoor out door cats and prefer hunting outside rather than playing indoors. When I got this toy I opened it up and set it on the table to check out, before I could get everything set up all three of my cats were pawing at it trying to figure it out. Shortly after my 2 year old was also intrigued. She loved the little mice that pop up and down, the toy kept her busy for 45 minutes, while she was busy popping the mice up and down the dog and puppy were also into the toy and trying to catch it. All around I think this thing is great!

So fun

My cats love this toy. They haven't quite figured out how to push the button to get the mice to pop up, but they do claw them and pull them up without the button. I was nervous because the box is cardboard but the carboard is very sturdy so they can play with it for a long time without it getting torn up. They also love trying to get the ball in the back. I highly recommend!

Maybe for other cats

This Frisco Cheese Interactive Cardboard Maze for cats is a really cute box and interesting fun for cats. But my cats didn't seem all that interested after the initial first time. Maybe for a certain type of cat or even kitten? I do like the sturdiness of the box. It doesn't seem like it's cardboard at all. And it's cute.

Cats were Interested for a short while

All seven cats were interested in the toy for about five minutes and then walked away. I showed them how to play with it, but they were just not interested in it. My CH cat chewed the cardboard up. I would still recommend this product because as we know cats are from another planet!

Cool concept

My cat wanted absolutely nothing to do with this toy, but it's definitely a neat concept that might appeal to other cats. It's hollow and allows small plastic balls to travel between cutouts, and the mice that pop up when your cat holds down the small plastic buttons are adorable... Just didn't appeal to my kitty.

Cat-ertainment

My cats knew right away this was for them. Sprinkled some catnip inside and they went crazy trying to get the balls out. I also threw some soft mice toys in so they wouldn’t leave empty pawed haha. It’s pretty solid for cardboard and the pop up mice are super adorable. Cute and fun toy.

Cats Like It!!

Our cats didn't know what to think of it at first until they got closer to it. Once they saw what was inside it then they just had a ball with it. They will go a day or two without playing with it, but then the next day they jump right into it. I think they should add some extra holes on the sides too.
