How do I measure my pet for this item?
To measure your pet, we recommend using a soft measuring tape or the printable measuring tape on the ‘Size’ tab. To measure your pet’s body length, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail; measure the neck by carefully measuring the circumference of the pet’s neck leaving room for two fingers; to measure the chest, measure the widest part (around the pet’s belly). Tip: get lots of treats and a human buddy to help keep your pet still while measuring and write down each measurement to easily compare to size chart!
My pet is between sizes, which size should I order?
For the best fit, match the size dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
The hood seems to be too large and covers my pet’s eyes, did I order the wrong size?
The hood can be folded back to a desired length to keep out of your pet’s eyes.

Merlin hates wearing anything. This seems to be very comfortable for him, he wriggles at first but once it’s on doesn’t bother him much at all! The only issue is i wish there was a second hole for back clip harnesses, but it’s not a huge issue, because if he pulls too much the velcro will just pop open so he doesn’t choke. The hood also doesn’t completely cover his head when it’s clipped to the harness but i rather his tail and snoot be wet than all of him. Merlin is a seven month golden retriever and he’s probably about 53 1/2 pounds and we got the XL. It fits comfortably. In a few months definitely not lol. But for the price that’s fine.

the best rain slicker!!

This is the best rain coat I’ve found!! My dog is a mixed breed and 55 pounds. We ordered the XXL that fits her! She’s a little longer than most and has a pretty thick body. She loves the fact it’s see through so she keeps the hood on but actually walks! It’s the only raincoat I’ve found she will actually wear on walks- otherwise she just stands there! You can’t beat the price either considering I live in a big walking city and go through outdoor dog wear fast!

My 7 year old doodle loves her raincoat. She took to it right away. I had my issues with what size to get, but I thought in dog terms small would be for a tea cup ETC. Molly is about 55 lb hence I got her an XXL and it fits well. If you had a full size Golden or German Shepard you would consider an XXXL Well worth the price .

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. For reference, my dog is a Miniature Schnauzer Yorkie and I got her a Medium and it fits to perfection. She does not like to go outside when it rains and now she does not mind :) She gets covered from head to tail.

solved my wet dog problem

i love this coat as my dog is known as the terror of our block. he is large. his reputation is such that the cutesy rain coats are just not his personality. he also likes snow and rain. i though not so much. drying off a dog his size is almost impossible. this is working out great. i still towel down the rain coat but that is easy compared to drying wet fur. just hang it up again and wait for the next trip out to play in the rain. he is still having issues getting used to it as he is not used to being dressed in anything. easy on and easy off without him shaking water all over my living room.

Everyone comments on how cute Luna looks in her little poncho when we're walking down the street :') It fits her perfectly (she's 35lbs lab/collie mix). She tolerates it fine but it's also just her personality to roll with the punches. Seems comfortable enough, though. Would recommend!

Finally a raincoat that fits my 41-pound, 24" at the withers standard poodle (deep chested), AND HAS A LONG ENOUGH NECK AND HOOD TO COVER HER TOPKNOT AND STAY IN PLACE!!! Plus, covers the pom on her tail. PLUS, PLUS PLUS it's clear so when she looks at me to see instruction or check on me she can see and doesn't shake the hood off!!! And one more PLUS...you can see her service dog vest through the raincoat so it doesn't have to get wet being worn uncomfortably on the outside. THANK YOU to whoever finally got it right! Her chest measurement is 25" but the XXL was the best fit (over the XL). It is a terrific raincoat and very easy to put on my dog. He hates getting wet and this is large enough to cover all of him (top and sides). Additionally, I had ordered the wrong size.
