Frisco Collapsible Cat & Dog Stairs & Storage, Gray

I got these stairs for my dog 16 lb dog who has a bad front leg. He can't jump anymore and the skinny stairs that are out there are just too narrow for him. These have just 2 steps and they are soft and deep enough for him to get on. Also, easy for him to go down as they are not steep. They also go beautifully with my furniture!

This come with instructions you will not need. The design is perfect and sturdy. You could also use this for kids in some way. The box structure unfolds and is stabilized by inserting a rectangle piece in the bottom. Then the lids fit on top. Setup is just unfolding it and putting those pieces in and the lids on. Bought this for my little guy (4.5 lbs) to get on and off my bed without my help. He learned how to use these stairs very quickly. I like that the steps are bigger and not so steep. The size of these stairs works well with my bed but my bed isn't very tall. If you have a higher bed, these may not be tall enough for it. The storage factor is always a plus also!

We purchased these particular steps, although they were a bit shorter than we needed, because we wanted a collapsible set with a deeper tread for our 13yo poodle mix to use in our camper van. The other steps we viewed all had short treads that would make it difficult for her to walk down slowly. These steps are sturdy enough for her 10lb frame, and fold down just enough to fit behind our chairs in our van (approx. 10"). We don't really use the storage since we are constantly folding them up, but it is a nice feature if you are using it in your house. I did take off 1 star because the top of the treads don't fit perfectly on the steps, so you do have to be careful when dropping them into place, or else they can collapse in on themselves. We purchased a new SUV and my older dog was not able to jump into it without hitting his back feet. So based on another customers review with a similar sized dog and SUV I purchased this and could not be happier. My dog is 65 lbs and this is strong enough to support him. It is collapsible and I store it in the back of my SUV. He is happy because he can now go for his beloved car rides again!

At 23 I could not get up to my favorite napping spots. Mom got the Collapsible Pet Step for me. It was intuitive to me on how to use it. I'n now back to napping under my sleeping bag on the couch. Mom likes it because it will be easy to store when I can no longer use it. She does wish that it came in more colors. She thought the super wide steps would help me figure out how to use it - she was right! She also thinks even though it is collapsible that it sturdy.

I bought the stairs to help my smaller dog get onto my bed. I read the specs and sizes and thought that it would work. Really easy to assemble, seems sturdy, much more than my 8 and 12 pound dogs need. The carpet on it is soft and has traction. But The instructions describe it as cat steps and I think they would work better for cats. My smaller dog can get to the first step, but the height to the second step is too great. Also, the first step is less deep than the second (the photo is deceiving) and my dog does not have enough room to get on it. I shall be returning the item, not because it's defective, but because it does not work for us.

These stairs are better than I could imagine. They are 100% worth the price. They are sturdy and functional storage for any random room items. My dog was scared of ladder style stairs but these are 2 wide steps he uses with ease!

We got these stairs for one of our cats that has a hard time jumping on the bed. They were super easy to set up and there is actually a lot of storage inside! The cats don't seem to have any trouble using the stairs and some of them actually enjoy sleeping on the stairs!

Perfect for my 14 pound kitty. Folding design is clever and convenient. Sturdy and durable. Plush attractive material. Not heavy but cumbersome to move. The only improvement I would make would be to add cut out handles (like on milk crates) or some other kind of strap or handle to sides of top step to make moving it easier and preventing the lids from coming off during transport.
