Unsafe Nails

So I bought 2 of these because I loved the first so much. One I bought 3/22 and the other 10/22. Fast forward, one is a little over a year old and the other about 8 months old. The nails on the top platform poke right out. It’s hard to see because of the material but very easily felt. Some were so loose I was able to pull out. The storage is fantastic. They are very sturdy. They are good for the price but I cannot get past the nails so I will be throwing away. I purchased a ramp from Chewy instead.

5 Stars for Pet Stairs

My elderly, overweight cat had trouble getting up on our bed for his nightly snuggles. So I bought Fresco's collapsible stairs to make his trip up much easier. The stairs are sturdy and attractive. He is now one happy cat, and I am one satisfied customer! Thank you, Chewy!

not usable

I bought 2 of these and they do not keep the step top on. They tip off and cause the top to come off . My dog caught her leg ,which had surgery to become stuck .

Sturdy wide steps, great for old cats

My 16-year-old cat started having trouble jumping up on the bed, so I bought these, and they work great! Easy to set up and very sturdy. I chose these over other steps because they're deeper (I don't think she would climb steep, shallow steps). It took a bit of coaxing, but she figured them out in about 10 minutes and can now easily climb up on the bed! The only downside is they do take up more floor space, but that's not an issue for me, and it's worth it to have the deeper steps.

Just what we needed!

I’ve been on the hunt for a set of stairs that were wide enough for my guy. He’s 15 now and it’s hard to get up on the couch. He has been using the stairs like a champ! They are wide enough for him to visualize on the way down too. The only downside is how soft they are. He tends to lose traction occasionally on the way down, so if your dog struggles with this they may not be the right stairs. However our cat loves the soft steps

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Everything about these steps are perfect for my senior cat and dog! —durable, useful hidden compartments, plush stair tops, attractive, easily collapsible for travel, wide stairs easy to climb. I honestly wouldn’t suggest any changes to improve this product! I even purchased a second set for another bedroom.

best choice

I searched for the best stair assist after my 17YO cat fell twice while trying to jump onto the couch. I am glad I settled on this product. What sold me, was the wide size step. My senior cat is wobbly and this item is very sturdy. He began to use it immediately without any coaching. His sibling enjoys sitting on the step and having some storage is always a bonus.

Best investment for our older girl!

I wish I had found these sooner. I have a pit/Doxie who is almost 10. She is loosing the Doxie leg strength in her hind legs and can’t jump onto the bed. Nights of crying because she hates being picked up. If we didn’t get her while in the living room she would hide under the bed and come out occasionally and cry because she couldn’t get up with us. This is a life changer. No more crying to get put into bed.

Poor Quality

We purchased in September of 2021 and I haven't had time to review until now. The first few months we loved this. Storage & stairs all in one. The stairs are soft to the touch and our chihuahuas seemed to love it. Unfortunately, one day our 10lb. Chi went to use the stairs & I noticed the top part slide off. Spooking her. At closer inspection & by setting my hand on it, I noticed actual staples (that hurt) popping through the soft covering & the stair cover was coming disconnected from another thin board piece. See pics Unfortunately, this is no longer even safe for our 3lb. pup. This is a very unsafe product without modifications to make it sturdier & ensure that NO staples are popping through. I know I should've contacted the company sooner, but life got in the way and it was past the 30 daya period.

Arthritic Cat Digs it

I bought a set of cheap pet stairs a few years ago for my cat who was getting old. She had to be coaxed into using them and even then, didn't seem to understand they were there to make getting on the couch/bed easier. She seemed to prefer jumping onto furniture using her arthritic hips. I thought she had an aversion to stairs. (I don't have any at my home) Now, she's even older and her hips are janky. So I thought, maybe she needs a wider step. So I bought these stairs, which she is definitely more comfortable using to get up on the furniture (not so much to get down). They give her hips a break and were easy to assemble and work with my grey couch. So, I consider it a win for all.
