Not a good cat cage

So for a lot of money you will get a cage that simply sits over a bottom tray. In the pictures it looks as if the tray is incorporated into the cage, as are trays for other cat cages. However, the cage just sits over the tray, leaving enough room for litter and anything else to get spilled on whatever floor you have the cage resting on. Also the shelf just sits on little tabs, creating the possibility of the shelf flipping if the cat jumps up on it close to the edge or puts paws on the edge to lift. Whoever designed this pseudo-catcage does not know the first thing about living with cats. It is a ridiculous design. Unfortunately I have to make it work only because I cannot find any other 2 level cat cage with similar dimensions for the space I need. However, if you can find another cage to fit your needs, do not waste your money on this one.

Looks great

We brought a very friendly cat in from our barn to keep as a house cat. We kept her in an ugly kennel overnight because we didn’t know what she might get into. She was fine with it. I wanted something nicer so I bought this. It’s very nice looking, very easy to assemble and fits where I wanted to keep it. She hates it and cried all night, every night for 3 days. So, now she’s loose in the house with no problem. My only suggestion is that the cushion that’s included should have a way to secure it to the shelf. Any time she jumped up to use the shelf, the cushion came down. If she continued to stay in it, I would just leave it down.

Nice enclosure

Received this the other day. Daughter put it together in a short period of time and was very easy. The mat does fall off but I sewed two ribbons to the mat and tied it to the wire. Problem solved. Plenty of room for the 3 kittens to spend the night and if we leave during the day.
