Hat too big for chihuahuas. Mine is 6lbs and it covers her whole head. Way too big. Cute hat though, made well. Would be nice and warm for bigger dog.

This hat is the perfect fit for my Lhasa Apso Mix! Beethoven is a medium- sized 40 lb mix dog, but has a head size similar to a golden retriever. We ordered the Medium/Large size and it fits perfectly! It covers his floppy ears and his head without falling over his eyes. It has a nice adjustable cord to tighten under the jaw. It can also be pushed farther back on head and will not slip down over his eyes! It will go great with his Carhartt jacket we just purchased from Chewy!
