TIPS: Hoop and loop fasterners strap is optional and can be removed.
INSTRUCTIONS: Remove hoop and loop fasterners. Hand wash in cold water, line dry.
For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
Paw Width: With your pet's paw on the ground on top of a piece of paper, mark the left and right side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Paw Length: While your pet's paw is still on the ground, mark from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the sock too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
Measure the distance between the marks and compare to size chart.
Tip: Make sure your dogs dewclaw is also covered by the sock.

Cute but small!
By hoyden on Mar 6, 2021
These are well made and very cute, but I thought I'd measured my 45# dog's feet correctly, but when I got these, they were teeny! They fit my 12# shih-tzu (and he doesn't need them)! D'oh. My dog who I want non-slip for has three legs and slides all over my floor. I saw someone mention to make a print of paw and measure that instead of trying to measure the foot itself. I'll do that next time.

Good indoor socks
By JMom on Feb 21, 2021
Bought these socks for our aging dog who has lost weakness in back legs, and slips/slides on tile or wood floors. These socks work great to give him the traction he needs indoors. Was hoping not to need to velcro straps (which can be snapped off), but while the cuff of the sock has good elasticity, our old guy's legs are too skinny, and as he drags his legs a bit they slip down. The velcro straps keep them up just fine. A little bothersome to remove and put back on when he has to go out, but hey, he's worth it for everything he has given us throughout his 16 years. Great indoor socks!
By Amanda81 on Feb 24, 2021
I have a 14 yo Beagle who has recently started slipping a lot on the hardwood. I added runners between rugs but it still wasn't enough. These socks have been great! He can wear the same pair for a few days and while they do shrink after being dried they stretch back out wonderfully. I used the size chart and ordered size 3 and they are the perfect size. Highly recommend!

Great socks for our 15-lb dog
By DogMom on Mar 3, 2021
These socks in size Small fit our 15-lb dog very well. I was concerned after reading other reviews on how tiny they are, but I’ve actually had a hard time finding socks that stay on my dog’s feet / ankles. They’re definitely big enough for a Bichon, Shih-tzu, miniature poodle, or similar.

cute socks, GREAT customer service
By DogMom on Feb 9, 2021
I accidentally ordered the wrong size in these socks. When I let the Chewy customer service folks know, my money was immediately refunded, and the new socks in the correct size were sent right away. The socks themselves have non-stick pads on both sides so can go on either way, and have a velcro strap to keep them in place, which is great as my dog tends to find a way to remove socks herself.

Runs small/short
By Moneygrub on Mar 23, 2021
Too short for what I needed them for; to protect front legs from his licking. Not returning for the price I paid its not worth the hassle. My shih tzu's front paws/legs are large for his size.

Adorable but Velcro too long
By PBT1 on Jan 12, 2021
These are absolutely adorable! I bought several colors. My 13-year-old teacup Yorkie is having trouble walking due to arthritis. his front paws bend easily while walking and he often face-plants himself: poor little guy! When this happens his knuckles get scraped and eventually bleed. Unfortunately, he won’t walk when I put these on him. Additionally, the Velcro that wraps around the ankle is too long for skinny legs. The extra Velcro sticks out on his ankles. I do think these are really cute, and I probably could cut the Velcro off, but ultimately, he’s not too pleased with them! And that’s who has to be happy! We started calling him the Warden! Lol PS: He absolutely loves this little bed from These are absolutely adorable! I bought several colors. Too short and won’t stay on even with velcro
By Gingerbreadmom85 on Feb 12, 2021
My cat got one on and was able to , with the Velcro, take it off immediately. She was determined not to wear this sock. I bought the because I live in a first floor apartment and the basement is unfinished and it make my floors cold. So I thought why not try them and see if she likes it? It’s a no go. Lol

Works well but looses traction after several wearings
By CaptainMax on Jan 19, 2021
These do a great job and are breathable so I can leave them on for a few hours at a time. He is able to get around our hard wood floors so much better. They definitely work, however, since Max is 153 lbs he wears the traction surface off. I only use them on his hind feet and all 4 have lost their traction after about 2 weeks. Also for a dog his size the velcro strap really is not necessary. I have removed them and he leaves the socks on.

Largest size is tiny
By BellaZoey on Jan 13, 2021
Despite measuring, the largest size did not accurately reflect the sizing chart. This greyhound took a chance even though others had said the same thing. Believe it, folks! Unfortunately, as the sock spin on the back feet, where I have the most trouble with slipping, the no-skid dots are only on one side, not on the top and bottom. My mom says she'll put some hot glue dots on the other side before giving the socks to my cousin who is a little dog who also has trouble on wood floors.
