Cat's favorite toy, he entertains himself for hours and hours!

I bought these for my newly adopted 4 month old kitten who I didn't yet know well enough to know what he likes. It turns out these are the best entertainment he could ever possibly have! I've never written a product review for anything before but he loves these so much I just had to write one.
It's incredible how much entertainment a cat can get from such a simple and cheap toy. Unlike balls, they move unpredictably and when they roll away, they don't go as far so they don't get lost. He loves to bat them around on his own and carry them back to his "home base" just to bat them away again. He likes playing with them on his own as well as us bouncing them for him. I thought they might not work as well on carpeted floors but they do just fine, and you can pinch them between your fingers to send them flying to chase. I could not imagine any better value for the money!… more
The best impulse buy!

I was close to free shipping and needed to add something inexpensive when these caught my eye. My cats go crazy over them!! The youngest likes to carry them around the house in his mouth. He’ll play fetch with them, drop them on top of me when he wants to play, purposefully get it stuck on things, drag it across the floor vents to listen to the noise it makes, etc.
Right now, I can only find THREE of them. I’ve looked under all the couches already. I’m probably just going to have to pick up some more! Definitely a great investment. They haven’t tired of them yet
neat though cat is unimpressed

I thought my cat would like these since they seemed like a safer bouncy toy instead of the elastic she tries to eat. Honestly, I think I'm more interested in them than she is, they're fun little things and I might try to craft with them at some point. It's possible that in a calmer environment in the future she might be more interested (she has a hard time playing right now as our house is a little too active for her liking). Still, I think they're worth a try if you have some reason to think your cat would like this kind of toy. They're pretty durable though will bend if you have a habit of stepping on them by mistake. They won't be chewed through either I think so they seem safe to me.
He really enjoys these toys!

I have a cat that is hard to please when it comes to toys. (My husband is her very favorite "toy" as she loves to "go fishing" with him, and she also loves "camping", which means she hides in her cube-tent while she`s fishing with him)....however, she certainly had a blast with these springy cat toys...the only problem with them was that they disappear so quickly as she rolls them under every piece of furniture....so I`ve had to order bunches of them, so that when I "go hunting" for them, I find enough to reward me for my trouble.I`d suggest you do the same!
Don't understand the ratings
on Oct 5, 2020
I was looking for an inexpensive toy for our cats and bought these because they rated well. But I have to be honest and say I don't understand the reviews, because our cats did not nor have they ever shown any interest in this as a toy. They treat the coils as just another inanimate object, as though it was a spoon or something - totally ignore the coils, even when we have tried to engage the cats with the toy. Just wanted to include a review since our cats showed absolutely no interest in these as toys.
Best Cat Toy Ever!!

I just can't say anough about these Springs. I had cats before and never had these. I saw them almost didn't get them. I didn't really think much of them and then decided why not? It was the best purchase I've ever made! Not just because they're so reasonable, but my kittens, 10 weeks old, can not get enough of them. This is their favorite toy and the only one they want to keep playing with and they go for hours until they exhaust themselves to sleep. It honestly is the best cat toy ever. Thank you for making my kittens so happy! I'm buying more to keep on hand.
GREAT CAT TOY

We have two rescue kitties-----both found their way to us, one by way of Grandchildren who found it at about 8weeks of age and the second "hitched" a ride under the car this summer, age about 6 or 7 weeks. Both love the springs, we have had them before with other kitties and they are the best of toys!! One problem you might never know where they are, they have a habit of disappearing under furniture, cabinets, and appliances. :)
Wild kitten subdued

We had run out of toys that our 9 month old kitten would be consistently interested in- BUT THEN- I thought these springs looked promising!
Well, they are perfect! He plays easily by himself because being light weight and round, he can swat them and they easily go far for him to chase! AND he loves to retrieve his toys - so the size and their being lightweight helps him to carry in his mouth!! Both kitty and owners are very happy!
Theyre just not as good as the ethical pet ones
on Sep 19, 2020
These are just not as good as the ethical pet brand. Bought them thinking they were the same thing but theyre definitely not. They are less springy and don't bounce as nicely. I can't get my cat to chase them, and she LOVES the ethical pet ones. She'd even rather play with the small springs from ethical pet than these. Save your money and find somewhere that sells the large ethical pet brand toy springs. Your cat will thank you
Springs for Cats!
on Sep 16, 2020
I now have 50 springs of various sizes which my kittens play with and carry around all the time. They are in the tub, the sink, on chairs, and in the bed. I retrieved 14 springs from under the refrigerator. I prefer the largest in length and diameter which I ordered months ago. They are easier on my feet and collapse when I step on them. The small, tightly coiled springs remain rigid when stepped on.
