Love it Except
My Lab Koda doesn’t like new things being introduced into his kingdom however after about 30 minutes … it was near impossible to get him to come out! He really loves it. The ONLY PROBLEM is it needs hinges to attach the roof. But I’ll go buy some and add them on myself. Additionally I have CAREFULLY installed 2 ceramic heat lamps for temperatures below freezing. So great. My only real concern is about the floor & whether it is going to just fall out after prolonged use & the weight of an “active” 80 lbs of puppy! Time will tell. I would have given it 5 stars except for lack of hinges to secure & for easier access.
Not as hardy as I expected, but not terrible
So I bought the XL because I needed it for my litter of Great Pyrenees puppies and then mom will use it when they’re gone. It’s super cute and I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the quality just isn’t what I expected. The wood is not very sturdy. Especially the floor. There were already pieces of the floor pallets coming off when it arrived, and the floor doesn’t screw in place so it can kind of shift around if it’s not on level ground. It doesn’t feel like it would support much more weight than about 80 or so pounds. The walls are not quite as thin as the floors, but they’re still not the quality I expected. I don’t anticipate it’ll hold up longer than a year or 2. Maybe if you have it on a covered patio it’ll last longer, but not everyone has that luxury. However I do have some positive opinions too. It’s pretty, it’s a good size, I like the roof, and assembly was super quick and easy (it only took about 30 mins). I do feel like you could build a better quality dog house for the same price. But if you don’t have the skill set to do that, this may be a decent option. But I wouldn’t pay full price for it. I got it on sale, so I’m not too upset. But I don’t believe the quality is worth the full price. For now it’ll serve it’s purpose. I debated getting the much cheaper, plastic, dog house that’s the same size, but I was deterred because it didn’t have a door flap like this one. In retrospect, I believe getting the plastic house and installing your own door flap would likely be the better option. Unless of course you’re solely buying this one for the aesthetic and not the functionality.
Wooden dog house
The dog House was not as big as I thought and it can't be used in the winter time because the slats are spaced far apart. However, it will be a good dog house for the summer time as the spacing allows for breeze to go through and the roof will keep the sun off our dog.
Looks great and is easy to assemble
#ReceivedFreeProduct This is one the best-looking dog houses I have ever seen. Right out the box and fully assembled, I am amazed at how easy it was to put together and how great it looks. From the clear dog flaps to the slanted PVC roof and solid wood and metal hardware, I surely have the coolest dog house in the neighborhood. The white trim is a genuinely nice touch that makes the doghouse feel more like a home for my little friend. The PVC roof is sure to last long as well as look good. Being bright white, it will also help deflect the sunlight helping keep the house cool. My one and only issue with the house is that the floor could use another brace or support for the middle floor piece. When my dog steps on the back or front end of the middle piece, the opposite end raises up (like a teeter-totter). I had to fix this issue by adding additional support underneath the middle piece. Other than that small issue, I have no complaints and will recommend this dog home to others.
Great outdoor dog house
#ReceivedFreeProduct The designer really thought of everything when they designed this doghouse. It's made out of durable durable outdoor materials that can withstand the crazy weather. It has a slanted roof so that rain water and snow doesn't accumulate on it. And it comes with a door flap to further keep the elements out and protects my little guy and he can hang out in there till the bad weather passes. Love this doghouse.
Such a cute dog house
#ReceivedFreeProduct I absolutely love the look of this dog house. It is so cute and my dog likes it as well. It was easy to put together and it is fairly lightweight, but the quality is great. The roof has a good slant to it, so snow and rain will roll right off. It's a perfect size for a smaller to medium sized dog.
Quality construction doghouse
#ReceivedFreeProduct The Frisco Craftsman wooden doghouse is made with quality products and solid construction. The box says ‘brown’ but it is a redwood stain that smells wonderful. Metal roof, pieced flooring, and even has a dense slat doggy door for quick install during stormy weather. Our puppies love it!
Easy assembly
#ReceivedFreeProduct I am by no means a handy person but I was able to assemble this dog house by myself within 45 minutes. It comes with all necesssry hardware. The instructions are pretty simple to follow. The dog house is so cute! It is a true to size. The large fits my german shepherd great. I love that it looks like wood but is made of PVC. Which makes it water proof. The door has a shade on it to reflect sun to keep it a little cooler.

She goes in and out of it through the day and absolutely loves it. It’s great because she can still go outside on hot sunny days and stay in the shade in her new house!
