Great, to the human!
I love the look of the shelves. This is not real wood but with the cushions that Velcro onto the surface, my cat can jump from shelf to shelf with ease. My cat is 13lbs and it seems to be sturdy enough to support his weight. On the flip side, my cat doesn’t use it much and I think the problem is that it is in a room that he doesn’t care for much. I think most cats might enjoy this. I just don’t want to move mine to another room and have to patch up screw holes. I might use them for books, at which point my cat will decide he wants the shelves back.
Installation Tip!
So far so good, I literally just installed this 30 minutes ago but I can tell it’s sturdy! The shelf is easy to put together but installation was trickier than anticipated. When you attach the brackets to the shelf, the supporting piece of the bracket hovers over where the second screw goes. I could not for the LIFE of me get that screw in, so I had to detach the bracket so that I could move it around to get the screw in. Not a huge deal, but it did add a bit of time and frustration to the installation process. I would save time by not attaching the bracket until the shelf is screwed into the wall, just hold it in place while you screw. My cats are already excited about it!
