This was amazing. I have a long haired formerly feral cat who was getting mats. This worked so well. Note to self and others use this outside if possible, undercoat fur floats like dandeline fuzz and is easier to control outside.
I have a Maine Coon that gets mats frequently. I have tried other tools that always seem to hurt him and he does not like me to brush him. In the past his mats have gotten so bad I have resorted to cutting them out. (I know I shouldn't but I was desparate). So far so good with this rake. He let me brush him and it didn't seem to hurt. It does take several passes to get a mat out though. Best tool I've tried on him so far.
Minnie is 18 and isn’t grooming herself as well as she once did and despite her short hair, has developed mats. I’ve been battling them with scissors. This worked like a charm!! I’m so pleased and it shipped incredibly fast. Thank you!
I have long haired cats and this rake gets out all the dead/loose hair and small mats without hurting the cats. It does get hair all over the place, so I comb them on a towel to catch most of it. It does the job great.
Comfortable removes all tangles from both our cat and dog.
It seemed really dull from the start, I wonder if I got a used one? Either way my dog hated it more than just a brush and scissors
Great for getting through dense poodle curls, especially on torso.
Does what it's suppose to do, which is great. If only my cat would enjoy grooming would make taking care of his thick long coat much easier.
It has been difficult finding grooming tools that not just work on full Golden Retriever fur but older or people with hand problems can use easier. We saw a similar tool on a commercial but when looked it up there was a bunch or negative issues about it. Husband said see if chewy had one like it because chewy never let's us down even if need to return. Well it is wonderful and not bulky. Polly loves it and just feels pampered whenever we use it.
Best deshedd ing tool money can buy. I now own three
