I have been using the another brand of jumbo disposable litter boxes for two plus years, and they have been great. I have not been able to find them anywhere for the last couple of months and my worst fears were confirmed when I called the company and was told they will no longer be making them or the cat litter. Ugh. I tried the these disposables and was very disappointed. They leak after a week to ten days and have to be replaced. I could use the other brands box for a month with no leaking and the baking soda infused into the cardboard really helped with urine odor. Chewy needs to up their game and make disposables that are sturdier and that do not leak. As a 75 year old woman, it is much easier for me to just dispose of the entire box than try to empty a box and wash it. Come on Chewy, pay attention.
It took a bit of guessing and ordering to find this size disposable litter box. Most people use disposable litter boxes and don't use actual litter boxes but some of us put these disposable pans inside litter boxes to avoid having to scrub the litter pans. I am glad to have found this size pan that works for my needs and can be used by others instead of a regular litter box. I do advise using a litter mat if your cat tends to kick or trail the litter outside the pan. Being disposable, when the litter needs to be changed you just toss this pan along with the litter. This pan is not waterproof so if your litter is not clumping litter for liquids you may need to change the pan more often. You can use whatever litter you like in the pan as long as you are aware. This size is too small for a large cat (Maine Coon size). I will definitely re-order.
I am not a fan of these litter boxes at all, but seeing as all of the “good” disposable litter boxes are no longer available anywhere, it’s this or nothing. (And I have checked everywhere!) They are thin and they leak urine right through. My biggest annoyance is that I order them in sets of three and the first one always has the paper frisco label glued to the inside of the first box. I can (sort of) peel the paper off, but the hard glue remains stuck on the box. If I were to use the first box I’m quite sure my cats would hurt their paws on it. The only options are for me to throw away the top box or take my chances and hope it doesn’t end up with a visit to the vet. Every single time I order a set of three I have to throw away the top one, so I’m paying for three and only getting two. I wish they’d either use removable labels or removable adhesive. I love Chewy and have been ordering from them for years, but these litter boxes are a complete fail. Into the recycling goes the first one again!
I am disabled now and can't deal with heavy litter so now I buy these and put a trash bag over it and use pee pads and this works for me. I can use over and over. I just pull the bag off with pee pads inside and put another on.
This boxes where not strong enough. It fell apart and I couldn't get it out of the plastic box I have it in with out making a miss. I had been using Wonder Boxes and can't seem to find them anywhere. I was hoping these would work, but I'm going to have to use two of them.
This set of disposable litter boxes came in very handy during a recent move. They are lightweight, but sturdy enough to hold litter and don't fall apart after my cat uses it. I love that they’re made of recycling materials and therefore create less waste. They work well with most litter and last up to 30 days, or whenever the box gets full. I was afraid the box wouldn’t hold my cat’s waste, but I was pleasantly surprised to find there was no leakage! Not only were they great to use on the road and at hotels, but they’re also convenient to have while we are settling in our new place.
I received a free sample 3 pack of Frisco Disposable Cat Litter Boxes and these are perfect for us to use when traveling with our cat. They are leak proof and water resistant. They are made from recycled cardboard and work with any litter of your choice. Convenient to use and simply dispose of as needed. When prolonged use, they may tear if using a steel litter scooper.
This makes it so easy to be sure that my cats have a clean litter box. I used to hate taking the litter box outside to scrub between complete litter changes. Using this means that I just have to replace the disposable box. Easy-peasy!
These are thin without the rougher bottoms that other disposable boxes have. They look like the other style on the side, but are not like that. Nature's Miracle told me they have ceased making theirs. I use these instead of a plastic box along with a Litter Genie. That saves my back from having to clean a box.
For many years, I have used the disposable boxes by Nature's Miracle and/or Wonderbox. Now that those seem to be no longer available, I am left with this option. These boxes are thin, flexible and easily torn. I hope that there are better options in the future.
