Cute without being cutesy
Easy to put on and take off, even though it didn't fit exactly right (More measurements would have helped.) Still, it fit pretty well, and my girl didn't seem to mind it at all. We had a real cold snap here, and the sweater was just right for quick trips to potty in the morning...also for her to stay in the car during my doctors' appts. And last but not least, she looked adorable! Oh, I've machine washed the sweater, and no color bleeding or shrinking. Yay!
Love Love Love!!
I love these sweaters! I bought three and I'm so glad I did. They're well made and keep my fur baby warm. They not to light weight as others and not too heavy, just perfect weight!! My dog is 16 1/2 lbs and they fit perfect. I finally found a sweater he doesn't slip out of and nice colors too.
Frisco dog sweater
When I first received sweaters for my 3 dogs, I was very pleased with the look, quality of the sweaters. However, after wearing them for a while, the neck area of the sweaters stretched to the point that my female Weimaraner slipped out of her sweater. The other two were also stretched significantly but stayed on. I remedied the problem by inserting 1" elastic in the neck band. Problem solved, but neck band should not stretch out like that.
Another great Frisco product
I got two sweaters for my pit/boxer mix girls. I ordered the 3XL to be sure they'd be big enough, which they are. I love the style. It's very easy to put over the dog's head, and the sweater drapes in a way that reminds me of those snuggle blankets with sleeves. It didn't hurt that I happened upon a B1G1 sale either! So far, I am very happy with Frisco products, and this is yet another.
Shrink when washed
I love these sweaters but they shrink considerably in the wash. I bought 3 XS based on measurements and pounds and after the initial wash (in cold water) they all shrunk. Chewy, awesome company that they are, refunded my money. I reordered the S size. After initial wash, they are perfect.
Not a cozy sweater
The photos are so cute but in reality the sweater is stiff and not stretchy. Not surprising given the price. If I had to do it over again I would not have ordered this but rather I would have spent more on a soft, cozy sweater. In short, I got what I paid for!
Cable Knit Sweater
Little Whiskers, aka Baby, loves snuggling up in her new sweater. It keeps out the winter chill, however, after only one week there is significant pilling on the sweater and the ends are unraveling. She is a senior dog and not very active, lying down and sleeping most of the time, and the sweater is showing too much wear and tear in only a week. Haven't tried the other two sweaters we bought, but if they are the same quality we'll be disappointed.
Very Cute, Maybe Size Up
This is very cute and perfect for the holidays. I chose a medium for my 6-month-old Boston Terrier. It’s a little short and doesn’t cover his backside, but still looks nice. It can be easily snagged and torn so I recommend wearing it only for pictures or for a short time. Other than that, it’s very cute and I love the color!
Nice, but too small
We have an older dog who is approaching the end of her years and has lost a lot of weight. We usually put her in something that keeps her warm, so I thought the sweater would be perfect. I followed the sizing listed on the website and made sure to measure my dog for the right fit; however, the sweater was still too small. Rather than going through the rigmarole of returning, we just use it on her. It looks a bit silly, but it's doing the job. I would say purchase a size up for a better fit. It's good quality, but I feel the sizing is a little off.
Frisco cable sweater
Frisco sizing is great for our JJ, she is 18 lb. Jack Russel mix. Wears a size M. Have purchased this sweater in 3 colors for her. Wash and wears well. Lucky to buy 3 sweaters and puffer coat all from Frisco on sale!
