Where are Frisco grooming gloves made?
Frisco grooming gloves are made in China and designed and tested to meet our high-quality standards.
Is this tool suitable for both dogs and cats?
Yes, Frisco grooming gloves can be used for dogs and cats with most fur and hair types.
Are the gloves one size fits all?
To measure if the glove will fit your hand, measure your palm width circumference around the widest part of your hand just below the knuckles. Match your measurements to the size chart. One size should fit most.
Can the glove be used to remove mats from fur?
Grooming gloves are designed to remove loose fur or hair from your pet’s coat. For removing mats, we recommend using a detangling or a de-matting brush.
Can the glove be used in the bath?
Yes, the gloves can be used wet or dry. For best results, hang to dry after using gloves in the bath.
I’ve had these for a few years of tough monthly use. They’ve held up through a few runs through the washing machine - accidentally bundled up with a towel. The Velcro is shot on one glove and the other is missing a finger nubbin but I really like them still. They’re fantastic to help bathe dogs with thick double coats and help it feel like the bathing process is going faster. I’m going to use them till they’re done for and likely get a new pair. They are a bit stiff to use but nothing that makes them unmanageable.
I was skeptical of these gloves, but I have a shedding beagle that needed to be tackled, so I bought these gloves. These blew past my expectations. Not only did they get a ton of surface hair off, they got into the undercoat and loosened that hair for easy removal. I've used these gloves in the bath as well to help with getting the loose hair off and rinsed down the drain. I also make these a game to keep him engaged.
They seem to work but can not use them.Waste of money unless you can gift them. The Large/Extra Large are at best Medium/Large and do not fit my hands.Like squeezing on a medium on a man's Large/Extra Large hands."Hands On" are a true to fit better option.
Cheaply made, stiff, fit tight even the extra large.
The cat loves it but I don’t it does not retain/collect the hair in the gloves like most gloves do when you brush through and finish the brush the hair just flies off the brush. I need to vacuum every time I room the cat which is daily.
These gloves are perfect for grooming even small dogs. My miniature pinschers enjoy these gloves more than any other brush I tried
Gloves are made well. They look like fabric gloves that have been dipped in rubber. The bumps catch lots of hair and they clean easily. They are TOO SMALL. My gloves are labeled XL and they are Medium at best. I cannot get my hands all the way in the gloves.
I have an Australian Shepherd. We have fur at our house. These gloves work really well. They take all the loose surface hair and are easy to clean. This is not a final grooming product but day to day, she loves the the petting and it really helps reduce the loose fur. I highly recommend them. They do run small.
I mainly wanted to use this to lather up scrub the grime off of the very dirty puppy mill dogs I foster. They don't keep the water out, but they aren't supposed too. The did hold up well to the water though. Toss on a pair of rubber gloves under them and it will be perfect. They also did a great job removing loose hair from my cat, who absolutely loves these. Worked on y dog, but she doesn't care for grooming in general.
#ReceivedFreeProduct I'm a big fan of these grooming gloves. My dog is averse to water, and any tool we can use to keep her coat looking sleek and shiny has to be suited to dry care. Thankfully, the Frisco gloves can be used wet or dry. I found that they were comparible in performance to a regular brush, and helped give a more hands-on approach to patches of shedding fur. Working with them on was quick and painless for all. They moved through my dog's coat easily. I can't say that they will fully replace the brush and shampoo, but they certainly help lessen the need for both.
