Cats will not cooperate...

Hence, I plan to bribe them with lickable Churus! My daughter is a veterinarian. She recommended this and that I begin rewards with one paw at a time. Being successful with this approach, she now gives a reward after each five nails are cut and her cats do not object! (The clipper should then be easy to use, and safe.)

Really works

I don’t have to use it often, but when they decide to knead my bare legs with their claws out, time for a trim. The first thing one has to do is get them used to pressing on their paw pad, so when they extend their claws, it is not just for a trim. That way they don’t associate you handling their paws with a trim. The second thing is don’t expect to do all the claws in one session. Great if that happens, but don’t expect it. And third, just take the sharp tip off. Better to do too little then too much. The trimmer works quick and easy, especially if the cat is relaxed. In the rare event that their claw grows out too long and bends back into their paw pad, then that is time for a vet trip. One of my cats always used the sisal, so I didn't expect that to happen but it quickly became clear that the trimmer wouldn't handle that problem.

These are great!

I had been using human nail clippers (yeah, I know that was dumb) on my cats nails for over a year. I had large dog nail clippers, too, but they were way too large and cumbersome to use. These ones are sharp and trim the nail smooth and quietly - much better than fingernail clippers! My cats are more relaxed when getting their nails trimmed. I took off one star because the ergonomics of using them are awkward.

Work perfectly.

This little scissors were a hit or miss because I have a 50 pound Cur mix dog. They surprised me when I used them on his nails. Very sharp and easy to use.

Dew Claws

Got these to clip the tiny dew claws on my Heinz 57 5 year old mutt. They definitely make quicker work of the task than trying to get at them with the standard canine nail clippers.

Excellent clippers

My cat hates having her claws trimmed (like most cats, I think) and these clippers have made the job so much easier. Yes, they're small, but my cat is small and so are my hands so this tool suits us both. She will still only allow me to clip a few claws at each session but that is so much better than the one claw--or none--I was able to do previously with either larger clippers or human nail clippers. Great price too!

Love them

These work much better than every pair I've owned over 20+ years, including the very expensive ones. They are very sharp and make cutting nails a breeze. My cats don't even have the time to fight me anymore they are so smooth and easy to use.

Best Tools Ever!

The Frisco cat nails trimmer and flea comb are the best tools. So easy to use, round hole for nail cutting makes it easy to see nail cut point and gentle on kitty. Highly recommend.

Excellent clippers

These are the best, no bite, no fuss, no muss, no fighting no guilt cat nail clippers ever. My oldish boy hated his feeties touched, because he knew it was nail time. He now lays down and enjoys his pedicure. Thanks for the excellent suggestion of these clippers.

Garbage, Tossed After One Use

Bought these to replace our two year old cat nail clippers and they had gotten dull-ish. On the first use they were already significantly more dull than the ones we replaced. Instead of a clean cut they left a jagged trim that irritated our cat. We only got through one paw before tossing these and taking our old ones out of the trash to finish our cat's nails. Never been disappointed by a product sold on this website, so this is a first. Very poor quality!
