I love this for my daschund who recently was diagnosed with disc disease. He can’t jump on or off my bed anymore and I needed something that was going to keep him safe at night while we all sleep.. This is perfect!! He hated being in his crate I think because he feels totally enclosed this was he has the open top and feels a little less confined. it has worked great for crate rest too!
Our dachshund pup is 4 months old and we used this playpen for doggy naps and as a crate training supplement on the go. We have an actual crate but for ease of transport we got this. It’s worked beautifully for months 2-3. However we have an escape artist and he can longer handle unsupervised play in this pen. If I were to buy again I would recommend sizing up on the walls for small/medium breeds like ours… or just save the money and stick to your crate.
The pen is not sturdy enough when completely put together. I actually have to try to Jerry Rig something in order to use. It would be nice to have it sturdy on it’s own.
We really like that this easily folds and isn't heavy to move around. I have folded flat to block a doorway and that worked great. Need another one as its more versatile than a baby gate.
Super easy to assemble. Loved that it can be folded up for storage. But it took my 5 pound puppy under ten minutes for figure out how to climb out of it so I don't use it anymore.
I really wish this was more sturdy. My 12 lb pup just leans over and it collapses. So we had to rearrange our bedroom to try and get it sturdy enough- still didn’t work just kept falling. Really disappointed it’s super cute and it’s an alright size just trash now honestly.
This was the perfect solution for our new puppy. He sleeps in it with no problem and i like the fact it isnt as enclosed as a crate.
Nice size. I just wish I’d gotten metal because it’s very light. So good and bad. But working great.
Greetings, This playpen is great for small dogs and puppies, but once some dogs grow and get bigger they will be able to get out, but my Bichon is just fine for her and she cannot get out. It's really made for puppies and small dogs
My 21 pound dog knocked this down. I contacted chewy to return twice and did not receive a response.
