Good for scratching, sleeping or just viewing

The cat scratchers are very good because my cat Smoky thinks they're good. I two of them for her. She uses them continuously, scratching, sitting, lounging on them, and misses them if they are not in the "proper" place. Also, they are reversible within the same container. Once they start shredding, which takes a long time, then I get new ones. I recommend them highly.

saves furniture

My 3 cats love these. they scratch on them all the time. also sleep on them. only problem is they scratch on them so much pieces get all over the floor. keeps them from scratching on the furniture. I also get cosmic catnip. they seem to like it better.

It's amazing how something so simple can be so intriguing for the kittens. They really get in there and work at this thing, catnip or not. One of the kittens even naps on it. I don't try to understand, I just marvel.

“sheds” a lot

My cat only like the horizontal cardboard scratchers, so we go through them. I found that this one sheds a lot more pieces of little paper than other brands do. I’m vacuuming all the time. The PetSmart whisker city one is better.

I bought this cat scratcher because it got good reviews and because our cats like to scratch the sides of our couches and the side of our mattress. They've been doing it for a while so we stopped caring about it since we plan on replacing it all anyway. However, I decided to try this cat scratcher to help break their furniture-scratching habit for when we eventually replace our furniture. It worked like a charm so I ordered another, along with a pack of the refills. All 6 of our cats use them. It leaves a small amount of little cardboard pieces on the floor but that's not something I care about. I'd rather sweep up a tiny mess than have scratched up furniture any day. I ordered the first one I bought this cat scratcher because it got good reviews and because our cats like to scratch the sides of our couches and the side of our mattress. My three cats at zero interest

My three cats at zero interest. No reaction at all. Not even the bag of catnip. They love catnap just not this bag. Sorry this purchase was a waste of money. I bought it in hopes they would use it instead of the carpet parts of their cat tree. The cat trees I have have thick rope which they don’t use they prefer the carpet. Anyway maybe some cats love this my cats could care less

Great for Multiple Cats

I got this because I have two male cats who are in Constant competition for Everything! That includes scratching boards. These hold up great and are easily replaced. Just pop one out and drop a new one in. The catnip is a nice bonus. They take turns laying on this. Kind of like King of the mountain. They last quite a while too!

Small scratcher, undesirable cat nip

This whole line of scratchers are small. The title of this item is Double Cat Scratcher, but it is quite small. Only my smaller cat fits on it. I have three cats, two are larger but not overweight cats. Other scratchers like the Scratch Lounge are worth the price. Also, the cat nip it comes with does not resemble premium cat nip - this included a lot of sticks and the color was brownish yellow as compared to a dried grass color I’m used to. My cats weren’t interested at all until I used some I already had. I do not recommend these or other All Kind scratchers.
