My dog loves this toy but...
3 year old golden loves this toy. Even my senior golden liked it for a minute. The youngster loves tug of war with it and the squeaky crinkle noise it makes. But, I've learned he cannot be left alone with it. He was secretly working on tearing it apart. He managed to put small holes along the edges in an attempt to get to what was inside which is rubber. I may try another one in the future but this one had to go in the trash so he wouldn't eat the rubber.
No squeak, just crinkle
My dog had little interest in it with no squeak. She did sort of chew on the frayed rope end, then didn't care anymore.
Still in 1 piece
I have 3 crazy dog. My pit/boxer and her crazy great pyrenees/pit/boxer son can tear apart a toy in minutes. Although it is worse for the wear it is still in 1 piece and is played with often.
Not a good idea
The toy Does not squeak. And it Did not last long at all. Not even a day
Up to the task for a GSD puppy!
This was one of the first toys we bought for our GSD puppy before we brought him home. He's played with it every weeks since (we try to rotate his toys so he doesn't get bored with them) maybe 1-2 days per week. He's chewed it A TON, but even more right now since he's losing his teeth (5 months old). I can't say how long it will be around yet, but based on its condition after this much use, I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it to anyone with a large breed dog that is teething :)
My dogs go to toy!
My 100lbs Newfie puppy loves this toy. She isn't a particularly aggressive chewer, but she loves rope toys and this has a unique crinkle noise that she really likes. It is a great toy for chewing, fetching and tugging. We have had it for a few months and she still always chooses it first.
Never seen a toy like this but 15 lb my puppy enjoys it and it’s fun watching her try to drag this around. Definitely don’t leave this unattended with a chewer because the loose ends come apart really fast. Actually I trimmed the ends a bit with scissors because they were unraveling quickly. Overall a decent toy for the money and i like that this toy is big enough that I can play standing up or sitting on a chair without straining my back.
Not for large dogs. Dane and mastiff shared it which was good, then mastiff broke it in half and got to bad plastic.
Okay, not what I expected
This thing is long, which was what I wanted, however the long parts have a heavy something inside. It almost feels and crinkles like an empty water bottle... I like the length and that each end has a pull loop. I wouldn’t buy it again...it’s just weird and heavy.....
Our dogs love this toy. It is large enough to stand up to our adult Golden Retriever, but easy for the puppy to grip as well. They love the crinkle sound. And it appears that it will hold up very well.
