I think I got these about 2 weeks ago. The one with the loop is holding up really well with all the abuse it's taking but the other fell apart quick. The one knot wasn't tied tight and my dogs were able to unravel it easily. I've gotten rope toys like this in the past and they lasted months. My dogs weren't really chewing on them, more playing tug and throwing them around. They're decent toys but I think the one toy was a dud. I won't buy them again because I worry they'll fall apart too quick. My dogs love these but wish they'd last longer.
I needed new rope toys for my year-old Lab and Lab-pit pups, and I was having trouble finding all cotton ones in local stores. The price was right for these, and I purchased both sizes. Y’all. The size variation here is hilarious, but my girls love them all. My chocolate Lab was tugging one of the large ones off the counter as I took pictures, and you can see the knot is almost as big as her head (she’s about 70 pounds).
I wish I had found this size and style of rope before I bought my boxer a huge, 2.5-foot rope. He is big enough (55 lbs.) and can get the big one in his teeth but he cannot run with it. These smaller rope toys are the perfect size. He can grab AND run. We play a lot of fetch.
I drag them all over the house. Sometimes someone will come and play tug of war with me until I get really tired and then I just want to rest and chew on them for a while. We have to buy them again because in another couple of months I will have chewed most of it up. At least they won't have to buy a new couch.
This was one of the best purchases I've made from Chewy. We use the rope with the "handle" to play tug and I also drag my puppy around the house with it while I pick up. He loves it and will drop a shoe in an instant to play with the rope. The second one is outside on the patio and has withstood all kinds of torture and is still in great shape. I've even washed them with great "like-new" results.
The quality is fine but I ordered the M/L for my 50 and 75 lb dogs and it is big and heavy for them and hard to play tug of war with. I would recommend this for extra large dogs.
I bought these for my grand furbabies. I assume all is well because their mom didn't report any issues. As for my dogs, everything I our purchase from Chewy is a five star item!!
I bought the S/M size because it was a good deal. I didn't want a long rope that could be swung around and this works good for my large doodle to play with.
These rope toys are so heavy, I bought them because they don't have artificial colors on them.
The toys I got were very fun for my dog. She played with them right out of the box. If she wears these out I will be sure to order more...
