It’s good to have
Out of my two kittens only one will use this every once in awhile. They know how to use it but it doesn’t really peak their interest. I have tried it at an angle and they still ignore it over their other toys and scratching posts. The catnip didn’t seem to faze them either. I give it three stars but every cat is different. Mine could just be picky and privileged haha. But I did notice the catnip wasn’t strong at all and usually they go crazy for that stuff. Maybe something the company should improve is the type of catnip. :)
Review for chewing
I love chewy! I actually get to talk to a real person when I call to make an order. They are compassionate. They sent me beautiful flowers when my sweet Tay Tay crossed the rainbow bridge. I recommend to my friends and even to strangers to order from chewy. They were very knowledgeable about the products that they sell.
Best Scratcher
Elsa absolutely loves these scratchers every time we get them. They can be flipped after the cats use them a lot, plus cats love to lounge on them. Plus they don't break my bank when I buy them which is nice. Keeps her from clawing up my carpets, which she loves to stretch put and claw so it's a must. We have dozens of these laid everywhere for her. They come with catnip to attract your cats to them but we've never had to use the catnip to be honest.
Cat is confused, but she's got the spirit
My cat loves this thing. She was really into scratching it, and then sitting on it constantly like a hairy rotisserie chicken, and then a few times she pooped in and around it. She enjoys the catnip too! Overall she's a big fan of this toy, even if she doesn't entirely understand what to do with it.
good size, good price
This item is what I would think a wide scratcher should be, not the Catit wide scratcher which is only 7.5 inches wide. Bought Catit wide scratcher once but never again. Will definitely buy Frisco double Cat Scratcher in the future.
My cats love these
My cats love these scratchers. This was cheaper than I have seen else where and the cats like the catnip that comes with it. Have to be replaced after awhile but you can turn it over and use the other side first.
Cats love these!
We have numerous indoor cats. When these were delivered, I opened every one I ordered. Cats' went crazy using them. I don't even have to use the catnip. As long as we have these, our furniture etc is safe. Thanks
You Don't Have These Yet?
Wow. I have these ALL over the house. Sprinkle some cat nip on the top and whoa....party time! Safe, well made. Have purchased multiple times and never disappointed. When they start to show wear, just flip 'em over....BOOM like new!
Cats love it
My cats have really been enjoying this scratcher but it does seem a bit less durable than ones we've had in the past. They LOVED the catnip that came with it even though I was unsure of it--it just seemed like dried up hay...but the cats know what they like!
Gets the Job Done
I've had this scratcher for about 7 months now (must of that time having one cat though I now have two) and only recently flipped it for the second side. This is a great budget option to give them a scratching surface in addition to the rope on their cat tree. I didn't like how this slides across the floor, so I have now command stripped it down and it's a better scratching surface. Using it on carpet might also work but I have all hard floors in my apartment. For the price, I can't imagine a better scratcher
