The packaging was disappointing, tape did not adhere to both flaps so it was just hanging open. Fortunately the product was undamaged, then I realized they're two separate pieces which is my bad I didn't read enough about it, I got taken in my the cheap price tag! The frame/bolster is fine, my pup loves resting his head on things like couch arms so he was set with this. The body/pillow of the bed is detached however and it's only a matter of time before he decides its a toy not a bed. I like that I could replace the pillow though, it seems very flimsy and will likely be squished by my 60lb pup within a month. I do wish there was something to attach it to the frame though, it's just a lumpy mass for the most part and has no buttons, hooks, or anything to keep the pieces from being separated. Overall not what I wanted or envisioned but my dog likes it so why complain? Except for the horrendous packaging...
My dogs LOVE their new beds! They're old and have accidents, so I was under the impression that they would have removable covers. Just today I needed to was one. The pillow has a small zipper but the interior is just loose filling. The bed has one long zipper; I can take out one cushion but the other 3 edges don't come out for machine washing. If I'm missing a trick I hope someone can help me. I'm okay with the pillow; I can just replace the filling with a bed pillow. But the large bed itself needs to be cleaned.
I got the XL because it was on sale for $19 which is dirt cheap for a big bed like that. It’s nice! The middle part is not connected to the outside, but I don’t mind, it’ll make it easier to take apart and wash. The middle part had a ton of stuffing, almost too much. But I decided not to take any stuffing out, it’ll flatten in time. I like that it’s big enough for both of the dogs in my house. Mine is 58lb mix, and the other is a 35lb mix. I put my dogs blanket that she used with her old bed in it so she’d lay on it.
This bed great for smaller dogs, I probably wouldn't recommend it for a larger one as the center is lacking in stuffing and support that a larger dog would need. Modi loves it and sinks right in though!
Although the bolstering around the bed is nice, it was a miss until did some innovation. I really wanted to like this bed. My 53lb Labradoodle hit the ground. I could not let her sleep in that bed as is. I cut up a 3 inch thick mattress topper to fit on the bottom and then put a waterproof baby crib cover and then a baby crib sheet on top. I can throw it in the washer weekly for fresh and clean pet bed and area smell.
Great price and so big both of my dogs fit at once. Plus room for one more of their 20lbs size.
The price is right no doubt about that. As far as the overall bed, the stuffing in the center is just too much, my 20lb dob tends to roll over on the edge of the bend and I have to find a way to remove some of the stuffing soon because he doesn't sleep in in it as much as he did his previous bed. Also the pillow in the middle does not zip off to wash, I assume I have to sick the whole pillow in the wash to clean, was hoping it would unzip. The overall look of the bed is really nice and worth the price, I have yet to unzip it and wash so we shall see.
Terrible quality and has hardly any cushion or support.
The pillows that are attached ro the bed are worthless
My dog loves this bed. As soon as I removed it from the box he jumped on it and rolled around. He won't let me lay on it either. Lol The pillow has two textured sides. One to keep him warm during winter and the other keeps him cool now during summer. I made a good choice.
