Ordering a full supply!
Our pittie rescue is a super chewer. In the 3 years since she joined our family she has destroyed so many toys, some within minutes. But this?! It has lasted a whole week with zero wear showing. I wish I could cover every toy in this rubber slip. If you’re on the fence, just get it.
Works for my super chewer
My 10 month old 80 lb. puppy destroys every toy made. He loves balls and quickly figured out how to chew tennis balls apart in 20 minutes after you give him one. He has had this one for almost 2 weeks and he not figured out how to chew it apart. Thank goodness. I will buy more in the future.
Clever idea, still torn apart
I thought the rubber part would make the tennis ball last longer but my pit still tore it apart in less than 5 minutes. But she got a little extra challenge and was so excited. It’s a dog toy, so it’s going to be torn apart. I’d rather have something easy to tear through than something too tough that could hurt her. I’ll keep the rubber part and use it for tennis balls again.
Extends life of tennis balls
Although not indestructible, this sleeve allows my active ball-playing pup to extend the life of tennis balls. We use it to toss to him and he loves it. He eventually manages to chew the ball cover, but not the sleeve and we just put in a new ball.
Ball Obseesed
Our girl is ball obsessed and not just any ball it has to be this one and only the sleeve. However we now have a grand-pup who keeps chewy her supply. She is down to only one. I frantically check daily for a restock and am now making a public plea to Chewy to restock before we have a depressed pup on our hands.
Almost made it
I was so excited because this ball seemed to be the one that was going to break my dogs habit of chewing on squeaky balls so hard to get at the squeaker to eat it(even Kong brand tennis balls). Unfortunately, after five days, which lasted way longer than the usual one, he still was able to get around the rubber and get into the tennis ball to eat it. I would still highly recommend it if your dog is not as nervous as mine.

My Rottie loves this ball. He’s obsessed with tennis balls and the covering seems to make it last longer than a regular tennis ball.

My dogs can destroy tennis balls in less then 10 min. They haven’t destroyed these yet. Love them so much, I got more. They love to chew the outer cover. Not much bounce, but great to throw.
